330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/26/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, coriander, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, coriander, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, coriander, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hop, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Belgian pale ale. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Aroma of fruits, citrus, yeast, floral notes, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Nice refined Blond Ale, above average for the style.

11.2 oz. bottle purchased at Bottles, Providence, RI. Hazy gold color with slow fading head that didn’t show any lace in a chalice. Aroma shows fruity Belgian yeast that reminds me of light dusty peaches with bready malt.

Flavor is a balance of malt and fruit with a slightly thin/ light mouthfeel. With that said, the flavor is very simple and subtle. Could use some ingredient to give it some pop. But still easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, burnt plastic and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Pretty nasty but maybe a bad bottle. Didn’t seem infected but I expect better than this from Viven.
