Bottle, BBE 19/11/15, 23/06/15, thanks tstm. Pours a hazy dark yellow with a small, white head. Aroma is apple, stone fruit. Taste is stone fruit, grain, light butter. Maybe this one’s a bit off.

33 cl. that indicates 6.1% abv. Best by 26/15/2016. Pours foggy golden with a billowing meringue foam on top. Smells of honey, corn and dried grass. Tastes the same plus a light mineral note, some yeasty spiciness and a hint of scorched rubber. Light body has a mildly unpleasant mineral astringency that provides a dry answer to the sweet maltiness. Smooth low-medium carbonation.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Yellow, hazy, with a huge white head. Smells corny, grassy, and grainy. Taste is also corny, some yeasty sweetness, and some grassy hops. Seems kind of heavy for just 6.1%. Best before 05/26/2016, drank on 06/07/2015.

Bottle. Nice pour, golden blonde, hazy, nice foam head. Fruity and spicy aromas: rose hip, pear, pear syrup, slight barnyard funk. Taste is a little disappointing. Hints of metal, buttercups, hint of rose hip, doughy, hint of yeast. Im missing a sour lacing. Aftertaste is agreeable.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/26/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, coriander, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, coriander, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, coriander, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hop, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Belgian pale ale. All around good complexity, balance, and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
