3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 imdownthepub (8492) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2011
Bottled, 330ml, picked up at Banbury Beer Fest ’10. Hazed gold with white head. The aroma is fresh spiced lemon, this leads to a slightly candy sweetish start. however; the spiciness, cloves, coriander, work to give the beer a light, lively dryness and an Ale like quality. Fresh throughout, not bad at all.

Pours lovely clear golden, fine streams of small bubbles reaching up towards a firm, frothy, whitehead. Looks a bit like whipped egg-whites. Subdued sweet aroma, some sugar, light pilsner malts, green apple esters, a tad dusty. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has mild spice, some malty sweetness, mild citric, some apple esters. Light warming. Fine blonde ale.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dEnk (2639) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2010
Bottle @ home. Aroma is dusty/old beer, faint fruit and hops. Uninteresting.
Flavour is quite sweet of malt and fruit with a (too) subtle hop note.
Not bad, but again uninteresting.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 tdtm82 (668) - Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2010
Bottle, home. Golden colour, very clean appearance, aroma of hay, some perfume, tastes of honey, perfume, sweet malts, some toffee in the malt, thick and doughy on the palate . a descent beer but feel mine has been ruined somehow. Just a bit too harsh for my palate. Good lacing, oily, soft carbanation and good bitterness. Long, rather bitter finish.
