10/06/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 2/11/2012 (2011-257)
Cloudy red brown beer, beige aery head, unstable and a bit adhesive, falls down fast. Aroma: fruity, caramel, dried figs, touch of banana. MF: a bit too much carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet caramel, raisins, mocha, citrus and some hops. Aftertaste: dark chocolate, grapefruits, citrus. Another pretty good beer from Viven. (yeah, Proef, I know)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. A dark brown coloured beer with an off-white puddle of head. A spicy, nutty fruity aroma with alcohol notes. Raisins and cake in the mouth. Too boozy and unbalanced to be enjoyable. Shame.

Bottle, bought @ Beermerchants.com.
Pours a lovely deep red, bordering on brown. Medium, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, some caramel, good plums, a bit of raisins. Light milky chocolate. Highish carbonation, fine dry and mildly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly sweet, some chocolate, toasted caramel, lovely dose of plums and figs. Long, fairly lingering mouthfeel. Actually a very nice dubbel.
