Dark amber. Huge white head that fades slowly and leaves some sticky lacing to the side of the glass. Big hop aroma. Bit of a sweet maltiness. A sugary taste mixed with a pleasant hop taste and slight bitterness in the back. Slight fruity taste, almost like bananas. Big powdery bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice attempt at a DIPA in a country that doesn’t make them.

Bottle at t’Brugs Beertje in Brugge. Cloudy amber - white head. Citrus. Fruity. Caramel. Toasted. Medium malty. Grape fruit. Peppery notes. Grassy. Piney- Nice high hoppy. Nice bitterness. Clean and good.

Bottle. Pours a pale amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity hoppy bitter aroma. Sweetish fruity hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

13 Very hoppy, certainly well outside the bounds of balance, but just within the bounds of sense.

Pours amber with a big offwhite creamy head. Aroma is fruity - peach and apple - with hops and som viniousity and som caramel. Flavour is very dry - pine - at first then fruity - again peach and apple - there is a hint of caramel sweetness and viniousity piney hops again in the end. NIce soft mouthfeel and overall a great beer.

Pours dark redish amber with a fine, staying, creamy, off-white to yellowish head. Good lacings. Aroma has lots of lovely fruity hops. Peachy, grapefruit, a hint of strawberry, resiny, piney, light vinious. Some caramel and good hoppy sharpness. Medium carbonation, lovely light and dry mouthfeel with a hint of creaminess. Flavour has lots of great hops. Resiny, fruity and piney. Peach, melons, strawberries. Long, well-balanced bitterness in the finish. Very elegant, clean and very well-made.

Bottle, 33 cl. Blond to light orange coloured beer with nice medium head. Aroma is nicely hoppy, bitter en fruity, with some citrus smells around. Taste is also hoppy, fruity, citric and grassy with a nice long bitter dry finish. A beer that enjoys you till the end!

(Bottled) Wow - a real Belgian Imperial IPA! Has a pleasant, dry and lingering bitterness without cat pee. Could be more fruity for my liking (like the excellent Troubadour Magma), as this leans a bit towards the British IPAs. In its class, however, it competes very well with Mikkeller (D)IPAs, even beating many of them. Well, they share the same brewery, so no wonder... 2735

Bottle @ Willems. Pours cloudy amber copper with a thick lasting creamy white head and lacings. Nose is us hops. Citrussy and grassy. Very dry and hoppy flavor. Grapefruit. Dry power bitter end.

A clear amber colored beer, with a light beige head. The aroma is hoppy bitter with a lot of fruits like citrus, orange and peaches. The taste of hop bitter with some spices. Dry with fruits like peaches. The aftertaste is dry bitter with sweets.
