Habanero (2615) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2014
Bottled. Pours slightly hazy, amber with a large, lacing off-white head. Aroma of caramel, orange flowers, apricot, herbal and piney notes. Sweet flavor that ends up a little more dry and solid bitter. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and average carb. An excellent DIPA.

Dark hoppy taste (as Nelsom hops) Delicious creamy. Imagine Belgians can make such a hoppy beer.

Beerenberger (1440) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JUN 28, 2014
Citrus, tropical fuit and a suggestion of sourness are the initial aromas. A clear mahogny pour with a rapidly disappearing white head and no lacing. The taste is overall bitter, almost astringent, with hints of fruit sweetness mid-palate with an almost pepper like finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, meh. After the promise of aroma, the taste is somewhat disappointing. P

uckelman (267) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - JUN 28, 2014
Pours hazy amber, medium off-white head. Aroma is piney, peppery, and alcoholic. Bitter, but really dominated by the alcohol. Heavy body. Dry finish.

sarauckelman (182) - Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - JUN 28, 2014
Hazy, muddy peach color, with creamy head; bubbles are of disparate sizes. Aroma of citrus (especially lemmon), then hops -- very pleasant. Taste starts very caramelly, almost cloying, leading to the bitterness of an IPA but ending again on a caramlized sugar note. Strange for an IPA. Main flavors on the tongue are bitter and alcohol.
