Orange, amber color, with a slightly yellowish small head. Fruity aromas of peach, mango and orange along with a note of fresh cut grass and hints of honey. Begins with a taste of hazelnut and bready malts. Soon a grassy hop bitterness rises upon the palate, supported by sweeter malts, almost toffeeish hints, which then gets overwhelmed by an immense wave of bitter hops. Still, malts hold the balance of this IPA, gets very recognizable in the finish again, altough this is defined by the hop bitterness, which is bone dry. Hits the palate like a hammer, lime, kiwi and pine, an alcoholic sting enhances the aggressive hop bitterness, which gets coated up by earthy malts in the finish. Very smooth mouthfeel, due to recognizable dough yeast, which gives the beer a unique character together with the malts. Unusual recognizable malt infusion, which goes very well with the slightly fruity, piny hops. This is a very intense and raw belgian interpretation of this style, which works very well on the palate.
