33cl bottle into Lagunitas jar. Poured deep bronze, hazy, with some sediment. Very floral aroma. Nicely hoppy, and even nicer that the booze was very subtle. Enjoyed this one - the Belgians are really starting to figure out hoppy...

Pours cloudy gold. Pine spruce. Excellent balance between sweetness and bitterness. Oily mouthfeel. Good beer.

Strong amber color with a foamy tan head. Fantastic hops with hints of citrus flavors. Punchy, crisp, not overly bitter. A really nice IPA.

Argonian (248) - Athens, GREECE - FEB 22, 2014
On tap. Pours a ruby-like body, with an average, very light brown head that diminishes slowly, leaving a very good lace. Pretty faint, but nice hoppy, citrusy and floral-like aroma, along with a medium to high bitter taste. Light to medium bitter aftertaste, you cal also feel the alcohol. Excessive carbonation, medium body, oily texture. A nice one.

Pours a nice dark copper with an of white head. I was expecting a noise full of American dry hoping but it is completely different. It almost smells like a trappist ale; an earthy smell with maybe a hint of dark fruit. Unexpected taste too; earthy, a little bitter but with a very slightly fruity background. One of the strangest beers i have had, but quite wonderful and really complex, every ship seems different.

> A probably old bottle of what could be a decent DIPA

[ Bottle ][ Max’s BBF ][ 330mL ][ Mini Imperial Pint ][ Free ][ 2/15/14 ]
>> Thanks MrChopin for the share, thanks ajax25g for the rec. Hazy deeper orange pour. Good foam. Semen nose with chlorine and saltwater. Uhh. Cheese, chlorine as it warms. Taste is tangy, mild bitterness, some sweet orange. Not gross at all, just old and dusty.

<!> stale cheesy hops, semen aroma is offputting

hazy amber orange, puffy cream white head. Orange zest and cleaning product nose, meaty with burnt sugars. Flavor similar, orange peel and pineapple with heavy newspaper all over, burnt sugar hints in sticky, full bodied finish.

Pours nice golden orange color. Smells of orange and faint alcohol. Very well balanced sweet/bitter. Little bit of spice on the finish.

Location: Draft at Hay Merchant, 2/17/14

Aroma: The aroma has a good amount of sweet caramel and citrus on the nose
Appearance: It has a hazed reddish-orange pour with an off-white head and plus lace
Flavor: It is medium sweet and light-medium bitter, fairly heavy malty
Palate: Medium body, smooth and creamy on mouth, soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This is a pretty tasty beer, but sweeter than I’d like in the style. The caramel overpowers everything else.
