Bottle @ home with Thompson. Smell gives some yeast and herbs. Looks very cloudy although that could be from the previous beer. Tastes fresh at the start but then gives you some yeast and herbs. Overall, extremely solid beer I’d happily drink again.

Pours orange amber, haze, with mousse-like off white stable head. Visually medium carbonation. Intense hop aroma with notes of grapefruit, peaches, pinneapple, pine, supported with malt aroma, which takes on toffee. Flavors: intense hop flavors, which takes on peppermint, pine, grapefruit, mint, passionfruit and apricots, supported with malt flavors in the background. Taste is slightly sweet, in the middle high bitter, with slightly dry bitter finish. Mouthfeel is somehow typical american ipa-isch, Body is moderate medium, texture is silky soft, carbonation is medium. For my point of view it would be much better if body was a little fuller.

Van ’t vat. Donker oranje kleur met rijkelijk witte schuimkraag. Een fruitige geur, pompelmoes! Lekker bitter met een fruitig zoetje. Zoet bittere afdronk. Goeie carbonatie en zeker niet onbelangrijk; een aangenaam pufke/boerke met groene hop en kruiden. Nog eentje a.u.b.

That’s good, and as previous reviewers have said, much more USA than Belgian. Murky orange, with a good white head and plenty of lacing. Full bodied. Malt base is overlaid with mango and grapefruit from the hops, with some pine, all underpinned by a s!ight!y chemical taste which presumably comes from the alcohol. But a good !lingering finish sorts that out.

Bottle 330ml (from BBF)
Deep amber color, steady good off-white head and lace. Oily resiny aroma with hints of fresh grass. Medium-bodied. Oily is palate too. Sweetish tropical fruityness in the front. Resiny and even some rubbery notes. Lingering piney bitterness in the aftertaste. Very American DIPA, no signs of "Belgium" here.
