3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ D-Day in Mojnlandet :-) Pours hazy rich amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of malt and yeast, and subtle touches of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with round, sweetish notes of fruit and caramel malt. Bitter aftertaste. OK.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 8.0%. Caramelly aroma, hint of pine. Cloudy amber colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour starts off very bitter. Then comes a distinct caramelly and piney hop flavour. The bitterness just keeps on going, which is a shame, because it is really a bit rough and unpleasant. High carbonation. Underneath the bitterness is a rather interesting and pleasant caramelly maltiness along with a good and cleansing hop flavour.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
An engaging hoppy aroma that puts me in the mind of Golding or alphalpha, with a little caramel in the malting. Bleh label, hazy medium oak colored beer with a bone-colored head. Kumquat zest and caramel flavor up front, zippy bittering and lively carbonation. Medium body, peppery backend with residual strange-citrus flavors. Interesting. I thought that this was just going to be some screwball Belgian, but I actually liked it pretty good. Proof Bottle Shop on the Thursday that I Was Paroled.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
IMO this is one of the best beers on the planet. All IPA’s should aspire to match this beer. The taste is full of citrus fruits and bitter complexities.
I struggled to buy it but have now found a source through Belgian Beer Factory - most excellent supplier!

A really nice dipa. Pours a murky dark orange. Aromas of fruit juice, sugar, and hops. Flavors are sweet and fruity at first followed by a nice hoppy finish.
