The aroma offers up a slightly odd mix of citrus, cherry, spicy hops and pine. Interesting. The taste begins with a mix of pine hops and malt sweetened citrus that creates a citrus orange like hard candy sensations. To midway it gets modestly more bitter with pine and citrus and near grapefruit like hops as the sweet malts fade away. It lingers into the finish with modest citrus and pine hoppiness. Pretty decent hoppy brew. A fresh pint straight from the tap would be fun to try.

Botella. Dorada ligeramente turbia con corona blanca densa y persistente. Aroma maltoso, pino y resina con un poquito de alcohol. En boca entra dulce con notas de pino intensas con un final largo licoroso y resinoso buena.

One of my favorite IPA.
Appearance : amber, orange. Taste : Like every IPA, the bitterness is predominant (too much perhaps?). A palate a little bit saturating by the bitterness but a very good taste for amateurs. Amazing hops. Very tasty.

hazy brown with quite a had. of fruity aroma resembling peaches. pleasant oily palate. taste very very bitter, too bitter for me, but I can imagine very fine for somebody else. long bitter finish.

This beer tics all of my boxes for a beer. IPA’s are not even my favorite but this beer is in my top 3. Great use of malts and hops that keeps me longing for it. It doesn’t come around very often here in England, but when it does, I am all over it.

29/05/2013 Bir&Fud Bottega (330ml bottle). Ambrata, limpida, filtrata, schiuma bianca abbondante, discretamente persistente. Al naso sentori agrumati, pinosi, di pesca e resina, frutta matura, buona presenza di malto. In bocca delude un po’, senza dubbio equilibrata, ma manca di quello spunto che ci si sarebbe aspettati con un naso del genere. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Ok.

Donkere aangename oranje kleur, schenkt vlot in met mooie schuimkraag. Zeer rijke, complexe en fruitige neus. Afdronk is fruitig, complex, rijk, maar ook net een tikkeltje teveel aan co2, helemaal naar het einde toe in de afdronk een bittere toets. heel droog in de nasmaak. top-IPA imho !

Aroma is wat zoet, gedroogde abrikozen en vijgen. Smaak is erg bitter, citroen en sinaasappel schillen. Maar de nasmaak is weer wat zoeter maar toch blijft hij bitter in de huig hangen. Erg complex biertje met veel smaakniveaus maar voor mij toch echt te bitter om echt van te genieten.

Drank this beer at Stokerij in Ghent. Trouble amber golden beer with off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruit.Tastes bitter and fruity with some spicy characteristics. Also a bit of honey. The finish is fruity and hoppy but overall a very nice beer.
