33cl bottle pours copper with thick gold hued edges and tall tan head with some clumpy sheet lacing. The aroma offers up a slightly odd mix of citrus, cherry, spicy hops and pine. Interesting. The taste begins with a mix of pine hops and malt sweetened citrus that creates a citrus orange like hard candy sensations. To midway it gets modestly more bitter with pine and citrus and near grapefruit like hops as the sweet malts fade away. It lingers into the finish with modest citrus and pine hoppiness. Pretty decent hoppy brew. A fresh pint straight from the tap would be fun to try.

Firm palate, russet appearance, bitter rough apple quality. Light carbonation. Firm densish off white head. Quick finish. Not bad but doesn’t get the heart really going.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2015 0.33 l bottle from Firma Bier, best before 8/4/2017. Clear, orangeish amber with a huge, creamy, stable, tan head. Fruity-resiny aroma of mango, pine, honey and orange. Sweetish, fruity-resiny taste of mango, orange, pine and honey, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy and slightly oily mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Good, but probably too old for a more prominent hop character. Also a bit too sticky for my liking. Liked the Master IPA better.

Many thanks for this beer to JefVerstraete. Piekna barwa, miedziano bursztynowa, metna i piekna czapowata piana gwaltownie rosnaca ze az trzeba uwazac przy nalewaniu. Piwo smaczne tresciwe wytrawne i bardzo gozkie. Zaskakujace i umilajace wieczorek. Gorycz wyczuwalna i lekko drazniaca podniebienie, lekka jablkowa slodowosc, wytrawnosc podczas picia dominujaca jednak. Jak na Belgie bardzo gozkie piwo, a alkohol wogole nie wyczuwalny, to standard wsrod dobrych belgijskich piw. Polecam.

11-SEP-2015, draft @Delirum Basement, with Ulkløbben. Hazy amber with a creamy, off-white, lasting, lacing head. Grape fruit and pine and very malty as well with toast, bread and caramel. Red ale like. Sweet and bitter, clearly dry hopped. Nice.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden/amber body with a medium off-white head. Lively carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of resin, boozy orange and toffee. Flavour of pine needles, peppery spice and flowery hops. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Prickly fizz. Reminds me of Lagunitas’ Maximus. Very good.

beautiful appearnce of hazy amber colour and huge, creamy, stable yellowish off-white head; aroma of citruses, caramel, pine resin, hints of tagerine, maybe some grape/raisin; bittersweet taste with caramel, pine resin, less intensive citruses than in the aroma, some bread and overripe tropicl fruits; excellent IIPA

Hazy golden with a huge creamy head, persistent and leaving sticky lacing. Aroma is very fruity hops and caramelish hops. Medium sweet, leathery, astringent and with a controlled bitter finish. Low pine. Made me enjoy dipa, or is it a dipa?
