33 cl bottle at home. Pours almost coal-black, no see-through reddish tints here. Tan coloured head. Aroma is roast malt, toasty and woody, almost charcoal. Taste is of the same, coffee and intensely bitter with a tiny hint of balancing sweetness. Well balanced on the palate, achieving a good rich mouthfeel with the long dry finish one should get from a porter or stout. Overall this is extremely good. An intense, robust beer that does not overwhelm as some stouts can. Very good and recommended.

11.2 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured a perfect black as my soul color, darkened brown bubbly head that laced upon the vessel very well. Aroma of licorice, peat, smoke, coffee, hate- you know, all the good things in life. Hits the mouth with a wide body, malt was sent straight to hell with hellfire, but it just smiled and laughed. Middle has a small sting of hops, finish has an oily lacquer feel to it intertwined with smoke and dark chocolate. It’s not my fav (Alaskan smoked porter), but it’s close. Very close.
