Aroma mostly smoked ham, nuts Taste quite bitter, little sour Appearance: black, much foam, brown Palate: oily, thin Overall good porter, but lacks depth, overwhelming smokiness and lack of nutty aromas.

In Europe known as Viven Porter but i US as Smoked Porter and it is smoked!

Dark brown, almoust black, beer with a two finger high, creamy, beige-brown head that leaves a lot of lacing on the glass.

Nose: Smoke, campfire, ash, roasted malt, dark chocolate, pumpernickel, vanilla, cardboard, toffee, molasses, brown sugar and dried fruit.
Taste: Dark fruit, molasses, ash, dark chocolate, coffee, smoke, roasted malt, hops and dark bread.
Body: Medium body and carbonation. Dry, bitter ending. Smooth. The texture is complex.

This is definitely a smoked porter! I can not understand why it’s only named "porter" in Europe...? It should have the same name as in USA, "Viven Smoked Porter" !

A beatiful, tasty, creamy, soft, smoked porter! I love it!

Deep dark brown with almost no head to speak of. Coffee ground aroma. Spirited carbonation and a taste of a smooth espresso.

A black body full of brownish yeast flakes, with a frothy tan head that stays around and leaves a good amount of lacing. The aroma is very nice, it smells like smoked meat, chocolate, and some burnt malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but it’s not quite as smoky. It tastes like smoked malts/meat, bittersweet and milk chocolate, charred malt, and some coffee. There’s also a smoky and burnt/ashy bitter finish. Mouthfeel is on the thin side of medium, it’s smooth and slick with a fair amount of carbonation.
