The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, medium notes of malt, and lighter notes of chocolate, and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Opaque dark brown beer. Thick tan head. Dry palate, hard roasted malt - smoky and burned with the expected accompanying acridness! A little fruit under there somewhere! Bone dry finish. Oh dear! About as much fun as a slice of toast burned black. Pretty awful from this otherwise good brewer.
