Bottle @ De Republiek, Brugge. Black with a thin creamy off-white head. Has a mid and healthy roasted malt aroma and taste. Not overstated and a relatively easy drinking texture for it.

bottle to glass. nice aroma of smoke and maybe chocolate - campfire smoke. I got none of that in taste and honestly there was no flavor in this beer; not bad just flavorless. odd.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Black with a beige head. Smoky aroma with lots of roasted malts. The smoke aroma and taste diminishes rather quickly leaving a more typical, but still enjoyable, porter.

Bottle 33 cl. Pitchblack, two fingers creamy tan head, good retention, slowly recedes to a thick creamy layer, heavy lacing; kinda mild smoked bacon nose, cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate; moderate smoked bitterness, slightly sweet, coffee and chocolate; medium body, oily to light creamy texture, soft carbonation; lingering dry bitter finish, still some chocolate, bit earthy, bit peaty. Very well-balanced porter, very nice.

33 cl bottle at home. Pours almost coal-black, no see-through reddish tints here. Tan coloured head. Aroma is roast malt, toasty and woody, almost charcoal. Taste is of the same, coffee and intensely bitter with a tiny hint of balancing sweetness. Well balanced on the palate, achieving a good rich mouthfeel with the long dry finish one should get from a porter or stout. Overall this is extremely good. An intense, robust beer that does not overwhelm as some stouts can. Very good and recommended.

Draught in Biergarten. Low head retaining. Smoky and dark chocolate aromas. Smooth bitter and smoky taste with very good drinkability. A really good sample of Porter.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Dark pour, thin tan foam. Aroma is nice and roasty, nice meaty notes, light smoke, some drop. Taste is smoky, quite umami, almost saline, meaty notes with light alcohol. Palate is med bodied, nice sweetness, medium carbonation. Pretty tasty stuff.
