Bottle. Pours opaque black with a medium, frothy tan head, medium retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is smoked meat and sweet wood with roast and chocolate malt, earthy and herbal hops with prunes and figs. Flavor is smoked meat and dark roast malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, sour dark fruity esters and a dry finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

Deep black with nice beige head. A no nonsense porter: coffee, dark chocolate bitter finish. Just as I like them.

Pours an opaque dark ruby brown colours with two finger of light brown head. Lacing clinging to the side of the glass. Smokey aroma with notes of espresso. Taste matches the aroma. Not as dry and bitter as your usual porter. Light body with moderate carbonation.

Pours a dark brown colour with a frothy beige head, great retention and creamy lacing. Beautiful mild smokiness with roasted malts, hints of dark fruits and hints of vanilla. The taste has the roasted malts, fruits and light smoke in the finish. Alcohol is well-hidden. Easy to drink with not too much smokiness.

Bottle at Farmhouse Tap and Grill. This ended up being poured into a flared tulip. The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thin white foamy coated head. Dissipated at a nice pace. Filmy milky looking lace glossed the sides of the glass in a level coated fashion. The smell started off with some sweet to roasty to meaty smooth creaminess up front. Light vanilla enters in as it warms to balance. The taste was exceptionally smooth and sweet with a stellar amount of a creamy aftertaste and wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a creamy to silky smooth feel sliding on my tongue. Nice and sessionable, ABV seems to barely hit. Overall, smoked porter, definitely and I would love to have again.
