Blanche a la carbo tres active, cela donne lieu a un tres beau collet qui persiste. Arôme citronné, coriandre. Saveurs font ressortir les epices et une legere amertume au finish. Blanche classique

Shared a 75cl bottle sold as Vieux Bruges Blanche, from the Bio section of Auchan (Luxembourg). Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Citric, coriander and yeast in the aroma. Medium carbonation and medium body. Flavour start bitter but quickly ends quite dry and astringent. Nothing special.

Bottle sold as Vieux Bruges Blanche. Light yellow, almost green bodywith small wwhite lace. Citric, aspartame, pilsner yeast and quite a lot of it. Quite active carbonation, dull light bitterness in taste. Dry and short ending. A generic white beer really. Not a big fan of the style and this isn’t even a niceone . (75cl bottle from Carrefour in Tours)

5% ABV corked Viex Bruges bottle from Auchan supermarket, Poitiers, France. Hazy straw coloured with strong lemon, vanilla and unusual aniseed flavours and spicy fruity notes on the finish.

Bottle at Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgium august 2011. Bottle from 2002, last brewed 2002. Pale, hazy and a lot of yeast. Fruity aroma, a bit vinegar and malty. Malty bad taste.

Bottle at Kulminator, Antwerp. This bottle might have been from 2002, but I am not sure. Hazy yellow beer with a small head. Malty aroma, toffee and yeast. Malty bready flavor, a boit thin, guess most of the hops and spices have been lost over the years. Still a decent beer, but more interesting to try, than actually good.

Bottle 75cl @auchan. A claudy yellow beer with medium head. Nose is very lemony. Aroma is low malty, spicy, bit sweet, very agrume like (natural ?). Not really a greate wheat beer, no real wheat malt presence, boring.

Oh, well, crap! You mean to tell me this is a Belgian??? All my illusions have been destroyed. Like dominoes on the lawn.... but anyways, pops off with plenty of pressure and pours with a foggy yellow and just a little bit of head that dies down quickly. Aroma of citrus, hops, and coriander. Taste is heavy on the coriander and hops, and that’s about it. Refreshing for sure, definitely not complex.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is wheaty, coriander and mild citrusy - classic. Mild sweet flavoured, vague acidic note to the light coriander spice flavour. Dry spiced and wheaty into the far finish.

750ml bottle, as Vieux Bruges Biere Blanche. Acidic lemony-peppery nostril with barrel and coriander. Vague tropical fruit. Total haze. Very sweet cereally afters like leftover Honey Nut Loops milk. Mealy. Wood, pepper, slight alcohol, orange rind.
