dirkbreedveld (225), Netherlands Jul 20, 2004 This is a nice new beer. In my opinion it’s a little more sweet than a Hommelbeer, so i would call this a blond beer. Maybe they stopped the fermentation a littlle bit earlier than the hommel, and used a little less hommel.
Excellent ber for a dinnertable, with a long aftertaste, of soft hopps. ha1ag (238), Netherlands Mar 11, 2007 I don’t know what the previous raters drank... but... this is a hazy dark golden colored, low viscosity beer. As far as I understand linen was also used in the process. sweet and fruity flavour,. well-bodied finish. Jerre (1396), Waregem, Belgium Nov 1, 2006 Bottle,33 cl. Golden color, head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is malty and hoppy, with a note of coriander. Sweet flavor , lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, and bitter. Medium body, watery texture.
skortila (2433), Bunnik, Netherlands Sep 20, 2004 Yeasty and spicy aroma with fruits (citrus). Very decent appearance; Hazy, yellow coloured with a perfect white lacing; lasting and creamy. Taste is sweet, some bitterness, yeast, quite spicy (some ginger I guess) and fruity. Good balance. Bit sticky. Pleasant beer. I agree with dirk; this is excellent for the dinnertable. pivo (2488), Germany Nov 13, 2005 Fresh barley malt grain nose with a hint of apricots, hazy pale orange color, low lathery head. Big wheat body, fruity notes, peppery spice end turning to a syrupy sweet candi-sugar finish. Thin and quick. Fairly good, but not so exciting.
