On tap at Pincho’s, Haarlem, as Valk Pils. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of swamp, grass, grain, a bit sweet. Flavour is light bready and malty at first, then turns sour, metallic, sour mash, grainy, nasty bitter, very short finish. Light-bodied. Not so good.

altonbrownd (3766) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 27, 2013
Bottle from Schiphol Airport supermarket. Clear apple juice body with almost no head. Nose is sweet, apples, spices. Taste is rather poor of malts, faraway hops and sticky sweet finish. Pretty awful benelux brew.

A rather bore. Typical taste of (Dutch although it’s Belgian) Pilsner with a strong taste of wheats and water. Not entertaining at all and far from an interesting product on the Pilsener market.

Golden colour, white head. Aroma mostly of caramel, some corn and other malts, rather sweet. Flavour mostly sweet, corn and grains. Very disappointing.

On tap @ a local bar in Nijmegen. The aroma is slightly hoppy and grainy. Clear, golden coloured beer with a lasting, thin, white head. The taste is little sweet, has some bitterness, grains, some malt and a little grassy hops.

25cl, exclusive Dutch brew, from Bier-winkel Oudehaske, not complex brew, yet easy to drink, not balanced, nothing special

MoritzF (8389) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 6, 2008
(25cl bottle) Clear, effervescent, golden-coloured hue with a lacey blond foamy head. Sweet and slightly acidic, sour-doughy nose with grassy, metallic hops. Sweetish, slightly bitter flavour, slightly corny and doughy taste; slightly bitter finish with a sticky sweetish aftertaste.
