10/11/11/12/9/12

Bottle, bought at the brewery. Looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, nice head. Starts mild, very spicy-hoppy, extremely grasy. Wonderful hoppy-flowery notes. Finish not as intense as the beginning, but still wonderful grasy-spicy. I really liked it!

bottle, bought at the brewery. At first I thought it was an Export/Spezial, a Helles, but in fact, it is nor. The small print says it is a "Deutsches Pilsner Spezial". Clear golden yellow, almost no head. Aroma of resiny hops and a touch of vegetables. Grassy and very resiny hops dominate the flavour. The intensiveness of the hops indicate to me that it really is a Pilsener, only that this one has a more intensive malty background than the other Pilsener brewed by Treuen brewery. A very good one.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Very aromatic hop aroma. Medium body, a little sweet malt, very perfumy and aromatic hop accents leaving a dry and bitter finish. 190511

Bottled. Clear pale yellow, airy head. Spicy grassy hops with a slight hint of apples up front. Dry, almost crisp, light body. Grassy lightly resiny bitterness. Careful but refreshing - my choice from this brewer.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, minimale Bitterkeit.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized frothy white head. Dusty, slightly sweet and bready malty nose with a tinge of biscuits. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready, slightly chalky malty taste with light to moderate herbal accents; quite dry and chalky, moderately hop bitter finish. Clean and likeable brew (10.III.09).

Bottle: Clear golden, mid-sized fluffy white head; moderate grainy-dusty nose with a light bisquity background and some bitterness underneath; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; light metallic traces in the drier bitter-sweet finish. Decent, but not exciting.......

Bottled. A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has straw, malt, and minerals. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and minerals, leading to a dry mineralic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
