2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from an acquaintace who has just returned from Chile. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with some malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with heavy bready and malty notes and touches of yeast. Bitter and estery aftertaste with some farty notes in the afternose. Well, a macro to quaff but nothing special as such.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle, 4.6%. Weak sweet grain and paper aroma. Clear golden colour. Good frothy white head. The flavour starts off bitter, then comes a grainy-sweet malt note. Sourish grain and paper finish.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 3/20
Aroma: Cooked corn, hoppy spices
Appearance: Slightly hazy gold body. Large long lasting white head. Lacing
Flavour: Medium-high bitterness, rather harsh. High hops flavours, vegatile, dry, crisp, string, medium-sweetness
Palate: Medium-light body, medium-high carbonation
Overall: The harshness makes the beer unpleasant. Would not recommend.
350 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, a very pale gold with a large foamy white head. An unfortunate pungent aroma. A grainy malt with a sweetness that is near to being honeyish - though is more a sickly syrup. Gets more dry in the finish, but not great.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, thanks Cristián and David! A fruity and quite sweet beer, somewhat like an overly sweet Kolsch! Tasted a touch wheaty to me. A well-balanced flavour of malt, fruit, sweet grain and a touch of dryness although it needs more bitterness to be a serious lager. Nevertheless, a good drinking beer with lots of character for it’s strength and one I’d drink again. The plastic cap is slightly surreal though!!!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle, supermarket) Very nice premium lager, caught me by surprise, because the Antillanca beer is made by the same brewer and it’s pretty bad. Clear blond color, light bodied, persistent white head and fair carbonation. Aroma reminds me of cereal, light bitterflavor. Overall, good feeling in the mouth and very refreshing. Definately one of Chile’s best lagers.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: blond-pale color. Medium head, good persistency, of white color.
Aroma: intensive malty, banana, slight candy, honey, vanilla; citric-fruitiness of lemon, orange and pineapple. Strange complexity for style, but fine and nice. Herby hoppy.
Flavor: sweet malty pale; fruitiness of grapefruits, pineapple, banana and peaches. Light tones of candy, nuts, honey and vanilla. Medium and persistent herby-hoppy finish. Too, metallic final.
Palate: light body, silky texture. Medium carbonation.
I’m really surprised with this beer; relatively complex, balanced and refreshing. Very advisable. However, the plastic cap (bottle version) is not at level of beer.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
(in a bottle, supermarket in Chile) A very pleasant surprise. In my opinion, you could kinda say this is the Chilean Corona. Very subtle , enourmosly easy drink, low bitter, but a very pleasant overall flavor. In conclusion, a very nice lager, perhaps the best option to drink if you want a to give yourself a treat during lunch or a soccer game.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear light yellow color with a huge medium lasting white head. It laces well in my glass.
Aroma is mostly malty with a slight bit of german hops to add a bit of complexity. There are notes of bread, dough, cardboard, cereals and a hint of grass.
Flavor is sweet-ish, cereally with unusual intensity for a lager from this latitudes. Some touches of white bread, cookies and a twist of lemon. Surprisingly clean, crisp and refreshing.
Body is light to medium with a smooth, velvety texture. Not very complex, short finish but a bready aftertaste remains. Carbonation is subtle. This is in the same league as Colonos, only more malty, and a contendor for the best Chilean Premium Lager.
