(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 2 Aug 2009) Hazy reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of dark bread, dried fruit and raisins. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, raisins and orange peel. Balanced spicy bitterness. Slightly above medium body, fairly sweet. Nice one.

Tap at Haarlemse Biermarkt: Hazy brown Dubbel with an great caramel taste. Bap means in the local Volendam slang "grandpa"

On tap at Arendsnest. Dark orange collor with thin head. Malty nose. Malty taste up front too. Gets lighter, hoppier. Quite a grainy beer. Enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is a good beiged colored head and reddish brown in color. The smell is fruits, yeast, malts, raisans, prunes, caramel, and toffee. The taste is toffee, raisans, prunes, fruits, and something else.

@ KBC Festival ’s-Hertogenbosch. A little hazy light brown colored beer, with a little beige head. The aroma is malty with some caramel and some fruits. The taste of some caramel. A little spices. It’s a watery. The aftertaste is a little bitter.

Courtesy of Bu11zeye. Hazy brown with a tan head. Earthy brown malt aroma with some caramel sweetness. Medium body. Lightly sweet caramel flavor with earthy yeast and mild spices.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Nose is black tea, dark fruits, and chocolate. Taste is the same. Thicker and hot alcoholic mouthfeel with a lingering finish.
