Bottle at ōLbaren, Cph. Thank you, Ungstrup. Pours hazy amber with a nice, small, creamy, off-white head. Fine lacing. Aroma is a tad vinious, light oxidation, good caramel and some dark malts. Great, oily mouthfeel. Flavour is surprisingly dry, very light oxidised, roasted malts and some dark chocolate. Nice and smooth.

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of fruit, oranges and peaches, alcohol, and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, alcohol, and dusty hops, leading to dry fruity, and dusty finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: Pours an opaque, wooden brown body with a fizzy, full off-white head.
Smell: Aroma of a heaping bowl of sugar, pureed fruits, and yeast with a hint of leather.
Taste: Malts and pervasive prune fruitiness go down with a scoop each of white table sugar and light brown sugar. Strong yeastiness throughout. Dash (or three) of cognac. Touch of acidity as near the drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-full body. Very well carbonated. Decidedly warming.
Drinkability: Can be a bit coarse with itís rough sweetness and boorish booziness, but I still managed to find some pleasure in drinking it.

Thanks to the ATL get together for this one.
Poured into small snifter. Light brown, foam still present. Smelled of caramel, very sweet. Attacks the tip of the tongue. Very full tasting with dark malt flavor. Instantly warming on the way down. Iíd imagine this is perfect in the winter.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thanks to jbrus via kramer17801: Bottle was excited to be opened and slowly erupted. Pours a cloudy dark golden bronze with a large, fully-lacing frothy light tan head. Aroma of sweet bready dark caramel malts and a touch of doughy yeast and light fruity complexity. Body starts lively on the tongue, actually it practically explodes in the mouth. Lots of residual sugars for this bottle-conditioned yeast to eat. Sweet caramel flavors and light fruity esters come through once the beer settles. Finishes drier and bready. A nice tripel or Belgian strong, not really a barleywine, but who cares about style guidelines anyway?

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle - Huge lasting big bubbled head on amber body with big yeast particles in it; Very intense, very complex and balanced somehow very Belgium nose, very fruity and very yeasty and very, very great!; Huge carbonation on big fruity soft body, super balance with depth and complexity, intense and very pleasant; Malty bitter slightly acidy finish, very balanced with a very mild salty touch, maybe it finishes a little to short. Very refreshing and very interesting. Not your average BW, more like a very powerful Belgium triple to me.
