COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The taste properties and aroma of wheat beer unfold best of all if it is poured into a cup intended namely for this sort- with narrow bottom and widened top. In such cup the bubbles of carbonic acid effervesce slowly, saving the freshness of the beer and forming especially bouncy foam. Before serving the wheat beer it is recommended to cool it to the temperature of 8- 10 degrees centigrade; then its properties will be unfolded best of all. Besides it is advisable to rinse the cup before using it in cold water (especially on a hot summer day). There is a certain ritual of pouring wheat beer from the bottle into the cup. Traditionally an empty cup is put on the bottle, then the bottle with the cup is overturned, and the beer is poured by slowly raising the bottle upwards. This ritual has been thought of not due to the attractive pouring way, but to make the beer yeast present in the bottle rise from the bottom and distribute evenly in the full cup. If it is poured properly, thick foam rises above the brim of the cup as if a cap.
The Bavarian tradition teaches to greet each other with the bottom of the cup in gentlemen way, so that the cap of the white foam does not fall.

Cloudy yellow color with a fine frothy white head. Looks good. Nice typical hefe weisse aroma with an ok intensity. A bit light body on this one. Average carbonation. Wheat, some banana, yeast and clove in the flavor. Decent weisse, just a bit to thin texture.

Bottle A. Le Coq Alexander Weizen. Pours a cloudy white with lively carbonation and a creamy persisent head. Good wheaty aroma and a full and generous Wheat beer taste. A yeasty deposit at the bottom of the bottle inspires confidence. A very good discovery.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2016 1-AUG-2016 BOTTLE 568 ML. Cloudy yellow-golden, big creamy head. Tart aroma of weizen, light citrus and pice-apple perfume, some spicy noted - from cloves to spicy cheese. Lacks the malts depth. The taste is similar, clean and tart, but the lack of malty sweetness makes it seem a bit flat and lifeless. Mediocre. 6-4-6-3-12=3,1.

30-JUN-2016. TAP at a random place in Kaunas. Flowery, perfumey, a hint of citrus and wheaty tartness. Medium body. Pretty decent, mid-range witbier. 6-4-6-3-13=3,2.

Pours hazy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is malts, some acid, grain, old hay, some fruits. Taste is watery, light, fruits, flour, some yeast, light bitterness, straws, unripe grain. Light and too watery for me.

As Alexander at Beer Garden, Tallinn. Pours cloudy straw yellow with a medium-sized well lasting frothy head. The aroma features fairly strong wheaty maltiness, citrusy fruitiness and some coriander. Taste is light sweet with wheatiness again rising to the fore; also orange and spiciness appears with a hint of banana. The palate is light to medium bodied with an average to lively carbonation. Refreshing fruity hefeweizen; not very distinctive but not flawed either, works in a warm summer day.
