COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Nothing unexpected given the style, fairly good actually-less cloyingly sweet than it could be, though a bit more hops than I’d prefer. Quite drinkable

Bottle from WB Stores, West Bromwich. In context, this is pretty good. In other contexts, it isn’t quite so impressive. Life is confusing. This is warming, very drinkable. A bit too sweet, a bit too thin, but overall: a nutty, smooth, tangy, sticky Baltic - which is a style I really enjoy.

Myk bitterhet i ettersmaken.

Vilnius 4/10 2015. 50 cl bottle from local supermarket. Pours dark copper red with off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam with some lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malts. Coffee and mild bitterness. Soft carbonation and creamy palate. Flavour is sweet and a little sugary. Coffee, chocolate and medium bitterness. Aftertaste is suprisingly short. For a porter produced in the Baltics suprisingly poor.

Flasche (568 ml) vom Friendship Store, Sanlitun, Peking. - Tiefes Kastanienbraun, klar.

Unexpected country and style rate from Merry Season on the second floor of the shopping centre with Carrefour near Siming Nan Lu, Xiamen. One pint bottle pours dark red brown with an off white head. Aroma of malt with a little roast and coffee. Sweet finish.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2015 Deep dark chestnut colour, with almost no foam. Smells weak but quite pleasant. Tastes of burned malt with very little aftertaste.
