COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We condition the water for the beer with our proprietary Santorini basalt "Lava rock filter" and then blend the beer with flavourful ingredients of exotic hops, fragrant Santorini honey and Citrus Medica-a rare fruit brought to Greece from Persia by the army of Alexander the Great. For each 1€ of profit, Volkan will help reduce the Greek National debt by 50 eurocent.

Bottle @ The Unholy Trinity Meets Again, Sønderborg. Pours hazy coffee brown with airy off-white head. Sourish aroma with notes of yeast, and grainy and malty touches. Sourish flavour with sweetish notes of caramel malt and hoppy touches. Hints of fruit. Sourish aftertaste. Tastes off despite not being in the vicinity of the BBD. Disappointing.

Murky brown, small offwhite head. Faintly malty, roasted aroma. Sweetish malty flavour, slightly roasted and slightly sourish.

Bottle, 5%. Roasted, citric and salty aroma, almost smokey. Almost black colour. Small grey head. The flavour is sour, roasted and salty. And then more sour.

Bottle, 02/03/15. Pours dark cola with a decent, off-white head. Aroma is light butter, light diacetyl, some roast and tobacco. Taste is some butter, light citrus, grain. Finishes herbally citric. Light, decent carbonation.

330 ml bottle. BB 01/2016. (Cava Π) Athens, Greece. Dark brown colour with a small light tan head. Fruity hops, mild yeast, caramel sweetness, liquorice and notes of wheat in the aroma. The flavour is toasted malt, mild salt, airiness and some fruity notes. Thin and flat. A bit of a disappointment. But at least I helped Greece with the national debt*. * For each 1 euro of profit, Volkan will help reduce the Greek national debt by 50 euro cent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smooth dark and chocolate beginning. Fresh with mild yeast. Not much roast, but dark and dry caramel. The mainpart is round, nice fresh chocolate, mild yeasty in the aftertaste. Great brew!

Its not a Dunkelweizen, its clear, has notes of toffee and caramel, so no Dunkelweizen. Its a Dunkel/Tmavý. Dark brown and clear. Off-white head. Aroma is sweet, toffee, faint cola too.
