Bottle. Aroma of honey with old frying oil. Dirty, muddy, dusty. Disappears completely on the tongue, some honey and very little or maybe old hops. Ugh.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Opaque dark brown with a mid sized beige head. Good retention. Pleasant olfaction containing notes of chocolate, roast, caramel, toffee, honey, vanilla, and emphatically, malt. Thick bodied and rather creamy. Unique taste consisting of dark liquorice, roast, honey, caramel, molasses, and vanilla with a semi sweet finish containing very little hop. Interesting.

3.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from a Thessaloniki supermarket, Greece. Pours a clear mid brown colour with a small off white head. Lovely chocolate malt and coffee aroma is the highlight of this beer. Medium coffee roast bitterness to taste, medium sweetness. Body is light and texture thin which detracted from overall score. Enjoyable but beauty of the aroma not matched overall.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Fine lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, and honey. Similar taste, with an added toasted/burnt malt component. A little sweet, with very mild bitterness. Not really picking up on the citric elements. Moderate carbonation and light-bodied. Not bad.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Promising appearance - looks quite nice, dark body, off-white/brown head, soapy lacing. Malty sweet aroma, grainy, maybe a touch of honey, a bit cloying. Taste is sweet, a bit smoky, a touch of ashtray. Off-puting in many ways. Not great. They’re not going to pay off much of Greece’s debt with beer like this unfortunately. Ugh. The more I drink this the more I want to pour it down the drain. Way too much like the ass end of a cigarette.
