COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

It’s not a too bad märzen. It’s got flavour, body and good carbonation, only bad thing it’s that, as far as I remember, it’s got rice in it!!! WHY!?? Anyways, (a bit) above average beer.

29-AUG-2015, botlle @Porto Pi Shopping mall. Golden, low white head. Malty aroma bordering a Bock. Alcoholic. Taste is sweet malt, fruity and alcoholic. But quite enjoyable. Medium+ body. Nice.

Lata.

Bottle, 25cl. Standard appearance, whitish head and light amber colour. The aromas include a light hoppy feel and especially malt - alcohol smell kicks in too. While the beer itself is not too bitter or overwhelmingly malty, it is not as sweet as I thought, so the taste was fairly good. The texture and body were not as impressive.

Cerveja regular.

The beer brand damm have one thing in common with most industrial beers that are made in Spain and Catalonia: a for its low quality. This, theoretically strong, beer for those who want strong sensations. What is strong is to finish it, malt mixture of various cereals, feeling that the alcohol is added ..... The challenge is to finish it and not fall into a sensation: I want a real beer!

25 cl bottle bought in Portugal. Dark golden with minimal froth.Malty flavour and not that sweet for a beer with 7,2. Actually it’s an overall pleasant beer if drunk cold enough. Btw can someone enlighten me why this beer is not listed as a Marzen?According to the own commercial description they see it as a Mazen "Las Märzenbier, como Voll-Damm, son la estrella de esta fiesta que se ha convertido en el acontecimiento cervecero más importante del mundo."

Aroma: Medium-light cracker. Light floral from alcohol. Appearance: Brilliant, dark gold body. Small, white head. Good retention. Flavour: Medium-high grainy, bready, toasty, Vienna. Medium bitterness. Medium spicy hops. Dry finish with lingering spiciness and alcohol. Medium pepper from alcohol. Mouthfeel: Medium warming. Creamy, medium carbonation. Medium body. Overall: An ok beer. Missing some of the complexity. 250 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 5B. Traditional Bock
