Color unclear yellow with medium head. Aroma hop, fruit, grass. Taste hop, fruit, bitter.

Dieses hat eine Schaumkrone die mittelmäßig hält. Der Geschmack ist sehr säuerlich, wässrig auch im Nachgeschmack. Das dunkle Volmetaler war nicht schlecht dieses ist aber nicht so gut! Fazit: Schmeckt mir nicht so gut, Schade. Test vom 28.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,6,6,7,6 - 6,25

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Golden color. Honeyish and bready aroma. The flavor is also honeyish and bready with some herbal notes. Medium bitterness. Hop character is slightly rough.

Hopfiger Oberton im Geruch mit getreidigen Spuren. Feinherber und fast milder Antrunk, der in eine mehlig-getreidige Mitte übergeht. Moderat hopfig-bitter im Abgang. Ausgewogenes Pilsener. Es gibt schlechtere Biere; sogar aus gleichem Hause. Test vom 2.6.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle. Golden color. Soft grassaroma with a hint of bread. Medium bodied. Malty, slightly grassy flavor. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint grasst hoppyness. Body is light to moderate, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, faint grassy hoppyness and butter. Finish is short, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, grassy hoppyness and some butter. Lightly sweetish pils with some butter.

Getreidig-hopfiger Antrunk mit deutlich bitterem Beiton. Im Mittelteil bleibt dieses Aroma weitestgehend gleich, im Hintergrund nistet sich allerdings eine erkennbare Wässrigkeit ein. Im Abgang wässrig-bitter, etwas hopfig, andeutungsweise malzig. Es fehlt vor allem an Vollmundigkeit. Test vom 13.5.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,8,8,8,10,8

[ Trade by Gabriel ]. Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100905]

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear pale golden, decent head. A significant amount of apple and pear showing up in both nose and taste. Subdued bitterness. Not my kind of Classic German Pilsener. Thanks a lot MoritzF!

Thanks to MoritzF for this one. The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts malty, a bit moldy-grasy, hoppy-flowery in the background. Maltiness is increasing, finish a bit woody. Still quite drinkable. Not bad!
