Random selection from a local market in Astrakhan, Russia. Pours a pale, clear yellow with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is light, with bread dough, corn and that’s about it. Flavor quickly takes me back to my high school and college days - right up there with some of the best US macro pale lagers - adjuncts, bready, and malty with no perceivable hops presence. One dimensional and borderline drinkable, kinda.

Aug 29, 2005 Grainy and skunky beer. Some apple flavors. Cardboard. Thin to medium bodied. Vegetables. Not good, hardly drinkable in fact.

Aug 22, 2004 Golden colour with healthy particulate and thick, undulating head. Aroma of bready malts and earthy, noble hops. Flavour is lighter, with a macro-brown-bread note and a lot less hop.
