Meet Otto, our Coffee Porter. This porter is named after the band, and rocks just as hard! Our select blends of Chocolate Malts and Shade Grown Coffee has made this an Award Winning Porter. Otto Pilate is brewed to feel like a summer ale with the flavors and boldness of a rich coffee porter. Whether you are new to dark beers, or a seasoned "Porter Pounder", we urge you to indulge.

IndianaRed (1798) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 1, 2012

On tap at the Barley Bros Brew Fest, Meridian ID. Clear dark brown with a full rocky tan head. Soft subdued aroma of roast and chocolate. Some coffe flavors as well. Well attenuated and fairly dry. I suppose inwould rate my own beers as well. It would probably not be so obvious with my user name. :)

The "Otto PILATE" Porter is wonderfully balanced with a rich coffee aroma that is followed by beautiful chocolate overtones, it rolls right off the tongue and down your throat, leaving just enough of a finish to make you want another sip, or twelve. Cheers!
