3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured yellow/amber with a huge white head. Lots of citrus hops in the nose. Flavor was citrus hops, pine hops and some pale malts thrown in there. Bitter and dry finish with a medium body. A decent IPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle... Hazy golden ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Fantastic, creamy retention. The aroma is malty, floral and fruity – biscuit, toffee, fuzzy and tropical fruits stand out. Light to medium-bodied with a crisp mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is constructed mostly of grapefruit-like bitterness with toffee flavor sans the typical, accompanying sweetness. Finishes crisp, bitter and a touch bristly. dmschefke shipped the bottle to me!

Bottle Pours a cloudy golden with a big off white head. The head has a great lasting power. It laces well also. Aroma is mixed well good hops and touches of malts. Has a good carbonation and a nice mouthfeel. The flavor is hoppy with good additions of spices. It is very refreshing. Has a medium body. An oilish texture. This has a solid finish and great aftertaste. I liked this one very much.

Bottle Pours a cloudy amber with a good off white head. The head is frothy and lasting, with alright lacing. Has a good citrus aroma with hints of grass. Has a good carbination. A good hoppy flavor but not too bitter. Has an oily texture, and a light to medium body. A decent finish and a good aftertaste. Not the hoppiest IPA but still a decent beer to drink, Good flavors and a hearty beer.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
I am not a fan. This beer poured a cloudy dark gold with a caramel head that dissapated quickly. Aroma was almost non-existant, maybe a little bit of citrus fruit. When I took a sip, all I tasted was bitter, nothing aside from that. I don’t feel like this should be classified as an IPA. It gives that type of beer a bad name. Someone like me who is new to the whole beer scene, is going to try this and write off IPA’s all together. Not a fan.

Bottle courtesy of Blankboy, shared with Jay. Spring version. Amber, good sized white head. Nice aroma of citrus hops and malt. Taste is good too - more citrus hops and malt. Very standard drinkable IPA - no complaints here.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not sure if I am putting this rating in the right spot since I had a silver cap but here it goes. Poured an uncharacteristic pale yellow color with a long lasting white head. Citrus hop aroma with a tinge of fresh cut grass. Flavor was distinctly grassy with a hint of sticky pine. Rather unassuming but totally drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (with silver cap). Pours a coppery amber with four full fingers of head and aromas that are somewhat light, but promise some piny hops and sweet malts. As it sits a little the head recedes very slowly and a little more grapefruit comes out in the nose. Flavor is pretty heavy on the grain and malt, but has an herbal hops edge to it and a pine needle finish.

Bottle (yellow cap... don’t know if that will be important information or not). (I moved this rating over after understanding the cap system.) Murky orange body... medium to small head that laces a bit as it quickly fades. Aromas are thick of hops... grapefruit, pineapple and caramel. We’re off to a good start. Flavor is a little undisciplined. Piney/grapefruity hops flavor seems to be a bit adrift without a good malt anchor. There is some sweetness there to balance a little, but there isn’t the grain body that would dampen the blow. Still, following the first sip, I find that things are balancing more. (It could be that my poor little tastebuds have all headed out for the night or are lying dead in a pile somewhere.) I’m really not sure quite what to make of this other than that Voodoo’s pricing is WAY high.

22oz bottle from MrChopin. Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip glass. Hazy burnt orange with a fluffy off white head that left decent lacing. Light nose of citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor held some hop bitterness with sweet malts, and some citrus. A nice, refreshing IPA.
