3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap poured into a cheater pint. Orangey amber hue capped by a goo foamy head with good retention, lacing sticks to the side of the glass.
Scent is filled with crockery sweetness, light caramel, flowers, and light citrus.
Taste is pretty well balanced with the same profile as the nose, alcohol is slightly noticeable as it warms.
Mouth is slick with a slight dryingness. Not a sessionable beer.
I found this an interesting high abv take on an IPA. Almost a dipa but it lacks the bitterness to be considered one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nothing on the bottle indicates which "season" this beer is. It starts with a mild grapefruit aroma, and pours a clear golden-amber, with a full white head. The flavor is a bite of pine and citrus with a sharp bitterness, and a long lingering finish. There’s a bit of sweetness that comes in the middle, which is not the standard caramel malt flavor. Overall this is an interesting beer and concept, I’d just like to be able to tell which "season" the beer is.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
orange with large white head. spicy and herbal hop nose. firm bitterness before an herbal hop flavor. malt profile is minimal in its presence, finish is a tad to sweet, not allowing the hops to show much complexity. decent

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2011 Bomber Bottle from Champanes, this IPA has a burnt orange and red pour with lots of sediment particles floating around, there was a lot of carbonation and it filled the glass with half beer and half foam, I had some sediment in my bottle, aromas of toasted malt, caramel and faint floral hops, flavors of toasted malt, peach and orange fruit flavor with some herb and pine hop bite on the tongue, this ale seems to be a malt focus recipe, also, there is an herb taste to the bitterness at the finish, mouth feel is about medium, I was a disappointed, I wanted more hops and a better play of hops and malts.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2012 Bottle courtesy of RegSpeir. pours cloudy amber with nearly no head. Nose is floral and herbal hops with very sweet brown sugar and candy.Caramel malts are pronounced and sweet. Very nice aroma. Taste is bitter hops of the same caliber but no sweetness and bitterness finishes it out. Aroma is far superior to the taste but is still good.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, courtesy Gilliard. Pours cloudy caramel color, with a huge fluffy white head and lacing. Nose is big on floral hops, hibiscus, some woodsy notes, tropical fruit. Flavor has a bitter start, some smooth oak notes, with nice subtle hops. Some interesting subtle roasted notes, oddly enough. Medium-bodied and drinkable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy reddish brown. Aroma of sweet malt rich and caramel along with pungent floral hops. Taste is exceptionally bitter from start to finish. The malt never breaks through although it lingers along with the hops well after TW tasting is done.
