Had on tap at the barrel room release. Pour is jet black with a tight creamy light tan head. The nose is roast, milk chocolate and vanilla. Rich malt aromas. Taste is also rich, light roast with rich milk chocolate and vanilla. Body is a touch thin in the finish with gentle carbonation. Extremely drinkable but not overly complex.

After one at the Beer Shoppe in Ardmore, PA I let the pourer know that I had a fever and had to have another one. Most got it although they attributed the line to Will Ferrel but it was Christopher Walken’s line. I did indeed have a fever for the milk stout it was that that I had a fever since the experience was so seductive.

This one poured a medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was of milk chocolate, roasted malt, oats, and some darker caramel malt. Flavor was similar, very silky and smooth, alot comming from the oats addition, with sweeter chocolate and moderate roast. Very creamy and inviting.
