On tap, nitro, black pour, creamy white head. Thick and rich, mild chocolate and enough to get the oats mixed in. Very nice.

The nose shows some mild cream with maybe a hit of vanilla. The palate has the creaminess I was hoping for but it doesnt deliver the great deep flavor it could. That being said I love the texture and like the rest.

On nitro at the Barrel House for beer week. Aroma of cocoa, chocolate milk, and burnt brownies. Pours pure black with a medium brown head. Taste is delightfully smooth with notes of fudge, cocoa, and roast coffee. Silky smooth mouthfeel and not too sweet or sticky. This is a real crowdpleaser.

Pours a near black with a fine white nitro head. Aroma of chocolate. Taste is sweet start to finish with butter notes offsetting chocolate at the finish for balance. Mouthfeel is thick and smooth. Very nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at HOTB. The nitro takes away from the aroma. But the taste is amazing. Chocolately, roasted malt, and super smooth. Creamy texture. Fantastic. Just fantastic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

neuromatt (1106) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 5, 2014
On tap at the brewpub, served in a tasting glass. Pours black with a moderate tan head that mostly remains and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has notes of chocolate milk and roasted malts along with earth. The flavour is moderately sweet throughout with notes of medium Belgian chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, milk and oatmeal. The finish is long and chocolatey. On the palate it is full in body with a creamy texture and light carbonation. Overall, a very nice chocolate oatmeal stout. A dessert beer. 2014-04-26

Tasted at Voodoo with ML. Pours brown/black with a toffee head. Aroma is expresso and dark chocolate. Flavour is a delightful explosion of dark chocolate, vanilla, expresso, and burnt malt. Yet it isn't too heavy. Wow what an oatmeal milk stout!
