1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
In short: A gross sweet buttery beer. Bad bad bad.
How: Bottle 22oz. Received as a bonus in a trade I think. Consumed when a few months of age
The look: Cloudy dark yellow topped by a very small white head
In long: Repulsive nose of buttery popcorn and honey. Taste is blends a lot of honey, DMS, apricots, cabbage, buttery popcorn, alcohol, boiled vegetables. Howís that for a description? Bad bottle or bad beer? I donít care, I donít want to drink this ever again. That beer had more problem than a advanced post-graduate math book.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
pours out clear golden yellow with a thin off white head that is bubbly with slight lacing and a fast rate of descent of the head that became really thin. the body is clear semi dark oarnge that allows light to pass through rather easily. the aroma are a definate toffee and sweet caramel malt and sugar. there is also the obvious candi sugar and some tangerines and oarnges scent coming through very prominatly also. the mouth feel is surprisingly very soft and sutel with moderate carbonation and is medium to almost a full bodied. the taste is partially bitter in the front but is dominatly sweet all around with caramel, clove, banana, and wheat bread being the main focus of the flavors. it finishes full and does not leave an overpowering aftertaste and is very plesent to drink.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded rather quickly. The nose is quite sweet with a really noticeable sugary note. Some spices, yeast, and bready pale malts, very perfumy smelling overall. The flavor is just an all out sugar bomb, this must be all the beet sugar. Some bready malt, hay, and light floral spices. Noticable alcohol on the finish. Fairly thick and sticky with tons of residual sugars. Slight alcohol burn on the finish. Moderate fizzy carbonation. I really didnít care for this one all that much, just way too sweet and simple.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz bottle courtesy of an extra from TheEpeeist. Thanks as always, Chris. Pours a hazy gold, a bit glowing, with a carbonation bubbly soapy head, small, stays at a film overall, minimal lacing. Aromas are lightly sweet with a touch of banana runt candies, grapes, apples, with faint spice, a good sweetness builds with some candy sugar behind it and some citrus fruits and pear. Initial is light bodied, putting a bit heavy sweetness into play, with graininess coupling, light bittering, some sweeter fruits without the bitterness and liht spice. That strange sweetness, both in smell and taste must be the Beet Sugar they mention. Iím gonna be honest.. it is weird. The beer is dry, bitter towards the backend but still has a good sweetness, preaching fruits, grains, and candy sugar.. but with a different touch. Long dry and bitter finish, almost astringent for the lighter body and more complex flavors this beer should preach. Overall, an OK Belgian but doesnít offer as much as it should at this ABV.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2013 Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy dark golden color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was strong tangy citrus and sugar. The flavor was gritty sugar, candied orange and grape, light floral hops and a touch of vague dry spices. The finish was long, dry, tangy and spicy. The mouthfeel was thick. Solid if unspectacular.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
22 oz bomber from EZ. Poured one of the ugliest shades of light brown I have ever seen with a small white bubbly head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, spice and grain. Super dry body and bubbly carbonation. Flavor is actually a step down and very grainy with some spice and yeast. A fail for this beer.
