COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Gran Met (Grand Master) is a Flash of delicate flavors. This Holy Grail of Belgian styles is on for the Connoisseur of Craft Beer. We at Voodoo use a special technique of adding the beet sugar to the ale as it is fermenting to soften the alcohol flavor production. This helps in the delicate nature of this ale. We also use traditional brewing for the unique profile. We hop you feel that we are doing our best to honor this wonderful heritage.

Ingredients: Belgian 2 row, Belgian light candy sugar, beet sugar, Hallertau hops, and our house tripel yeast. 29 IBUs.

KSBF 08- Clear light gold pour with small white head. Aroma of sweet yeast and sugars carries into a light hop-malt ale. A tinge of orange in there with the ABV really covered well. Ok, not tremendously good but enjoyable.

Orange yellow pour with an aroma of spice, citrus, and yeast. Citrus, Belgian yeast, caramel, and spice comprise the flavor. Nicely done.

Bottle. Strong beet sugar aroma. Golden amber body with thin lasting head, nice lacing. Flavor is very sweet, with strong notes of beet sugar, belgian yeast with subtle hops. Malty caramel finish.

750 ml bottle. Pours a deep caramel/copper color with a medium white head, some gushing. A big sweet nose of caramel and sugar. The flavor of candy sugar and beet sugar is massive, light spices, way too much sweetness. Not hot. Decent.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle, thanks to Doug. Huge notes of sugar, spicy, caramel, fruity, floral. Overly sweet, slightly cloying.

Clear yellow with a soft white head. Full flavored yet subtle depth and soft complexity. There are flowers and complex clovers. Passion flowers with an amber gold on the tongue. Growing body is very nice.

Bomber from Capone’s, Norristown. Sweet Christmas, who is responsible for the label art? Grievous, abominable. Honey gold pour with a pretty raucous head. Nose os yeast, a touch of spice, and a twinge of earthy tartness. Prickly mouthfeel and a lightly spicy palate. Flavors are all over the place, though, with coriander, citrus, treacle, booze, grass, not much personality or coherence.

Tap, pour is a bit heady, aroma is nice a bit of hoppiness, some spice in there, the body is thin and overall it was drinkable.
