22 ounce bottle poured into a mini-snifter. Pours a thick black with a beige head of foam. The aroma has spicy notes, musty, sweet, chili pepper, tea, and apple notes. Sweet and spicy with a little burn on the back of the tongue. The ghost peppers must not have been too heavy handed, because I had no idea while I was drinking this that they were there. Delicious beer.

Bottle from release. Pours black as night with a small tan head that fizzes away quickly. Poured into a barrel room snifter. Smell is of, chocolate, cinnamon, apple spiciness. Lots going on in this beer, sweet smelling also. Taste hits you with sweet bakers chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon, slight heat from the peppers on the backend. Awesome beer that was crafted well. Wish I had another....

Bottle shared by Corbit/Jim! Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of vanilla with sweet dark grains, dark chocolate and a hint of raisins. Flavor begins with dark roasted malts and dark chocolate with growing vanilla and barrel notes.

Bottle... This beer rocks!Ö Pours black with a small, creamy, off-white head thatís gone faster than you can say "quick.". The bouquet arouses decadent thoughts of vanilla and chocolate chip cookie dough. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and dancing carbonation. Chocolaty, boozy flavor and finish. Plenty of ethanol here, but itís clean and endearing. World class beer shared by landhoney!

Tap at voodoo during release, pour is a nice pitch black, light head. Aroma is nice and roasty a bit sweet, taste is lots of chocolate, a bit of woody notes, a modest heat level from the peppers, not too much in there but it was nice. Definitely lots of chocolate and a bit roasty coffee, nice offering

651mL purple wax shared at Woodshop 8. Pours a clear, deep black. Nose is boss: really intense chili pepper, heavy Mexican dark chocolate, dark fudge. Spot on. Taste is spot on as well- excellent Mexican dark chocolate, beautiful chili pepper spice, cinnamon, vanilla, horchata, rich and intense. One of the best from Woodshop.

Pours midnight black with a soft bubbling head that hugs my glass. The aroma is heavy with vanilla and cinnamon. There is robust dark malt notes, sweet carmel malts, fruit brandy scents, and a pleasant heat from the peppers. In the flavor I picked up on carmel malts, chocolate bitter malts, cocoa, heat from the pepper, defined cinnamon spice, and a moderate level of vanilla flavor. Overall it blended perfectly, nothing is overwhelming. My palate wasn?t hit much considering the masked booze, cinnamon spice, and a pleasant heat from the peppers in the end. This is a must have for any stout fan.
