My girlfriend got a glass of this at the House of 1000 beers. For the most part she liked, I however, did not. Black pour, nice looking from the nitro, but the taste was thick and overwhelming pumpkin flavor. I couldn’t drink a 16oz draft. Everything you would want in a pumpkin beer, cinnamon, cloves, candy taste, and dark thick malt flavor, long lingering flavor of fur on my tongue. Just not for me.

On Nitro Tap at UPick6 in Erie PA. Dark murky brown with beautiful Cascading Bubbles and Foamy head. Smell of Pumpkin Pie spices, and Stout like character. Taste is Same as smell, but I can taste the Pumpkin and seems like the actual crust. The body on nitro is so Rich, creamy and smooth, Makes it even more delicious. I hope they Bottle this next year. Now, this is a unique pumpkin beer, not yer typical hazy yellow beer. On tap at the house olf 1000 beers. Pour is a mezmerizing event of settling foam on a big black beer, you gotta see this! It rolls for about a minute or two! The smell is also mezmering, like the candy of your youthood! Licorice taste and pumpkin background make for a desirable punky beer. Burns a little going down the hatch and now I see the alky is near 9%. Hardley any CO2 in this brew on the tongue but plenty of action inthe pour. Unique and as different pumpkin beer for a change, welcomed! Better than most pumkin beers. Beatuful lacing on the glass. Got to be one of the top pumpkin beer experiences for me so far.

Crazy creamy nitro pour, cascades slowly, retention is amazing, laces incredibly... nutmeg, pumpkin, light alc, some cinnamon, ... nutmeg juice, some cinnamon, light roast, some pumpkin, creamy, spicy dry finish... too much nutmeg, i like the nitro, but this could do wonders with a little roastiness, this drinking like a dry stout doesnt enhance the flavor...

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at Capone’s with Ann, James, Linh, and Pat. Pours a dark brown, almost black. Aroma is typical pumpkin spices aromatics. Taste is very nice. Dark mark malts offer a nice base for a really good, actual pumpkin flavor to come through, not just the spices. Almost more on the savory side than the sweet side, which is nice.

On nitro at Capones. Wow, the spicy nutmeg/allspice aroma is overpowering, not necessarilly a bad thing. You jump right into the holiday season when this hits your nose. The body is so creamy and smooth on nitro, delicious. The flavors of the spices overpower the roasted malts leaving a little wanting on the backend.

Pours black with a creamy beige head...on nitro at Perch Pub. Aroma is nutmeg, vanilla and pumpkin. The spices were strong at at first and mellowed as it warmed. Warming allowed some oakeyness and much more pumpkin to be revealed. Taste is spicey up front and sweet on the finish. Nitro serving meant a creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Overall I was highly anticipating this beer and was afraid it would let me down, however it did not disappoint. There is a great balance between spices and pumpkin. Would love to see this bottled and not on nitro...the nitro gave it more of a stout feel then belgian ale.
