Thanks to Lunch for gifting me this bottle. Served in a SAVOR wine glass. A: Pours a cloudy light copper color with a few bubbles on top after a hard pour. Thereís a thin white collar with small bubbles around the edges, but thatís about all it gets. S: The nose brings some faint stone fruits along with a bit of white pepper. Behind that is a touch of caramel and a bready malt base. T: The flavor is wholly different from the nose, as thereís an abundance of fruit, at least compared to the nose, where there was only a faint whiff of fruitness. Here comes a bit of cherry and raspberry along with a faint black-plum presence in the background. A touch medicinal on the back end, though that aspect is fairly mellow. M: Medium body with low-to-moderate carbonation and a bit of alcohol. Light fruity sweetness lingers in the background, heading to a finish that is surprisingly crisp. A bit of alcohol in the background, but nothing that wouldnít be expected from a brew of this strength. O: Pretty good. I enjoyed this quite a bit more than I expected to. The fruity elements to the flavor are quite nice, and the feel really rounds things out. Thanks again, Paul.

Markedly nicer aroma than the base beer, which was nice enough already. Cherries and raspberries mostly, while the passionfruit comes in in the aftertaste. Pleasant, if not quite a standout.

Drank from a pint glass, poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Thought the name on the bottle was "Voodoo Love Chile" I was expecting a different type of Fruit Beer. Amazing aromas of cherries and raspberries. Pours a clear golden, almost pinkish, with the slightest amount of head. Nice and smooth for a 9.5%, I could see myself enjoying one of these on a beach!

Quite amazing. Sweet but not alcoholic weirdness. Finelly brewed and nice fruity afterstaste all over it.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is cherry skin, passion fruit, wood. Thin mouth, cherry pith, passion fruit, light finish, good.

Draft at Alís. Hazy to cloudy golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma has floral mixed spice, summer fruit. Taste is herbal fruit. Easy drinking for its abv.

Aroma - has raspberries and dried berries, as well as Belgian yeast Appearance - body is Mikado yellow, clean at first, with the bottom yeast becomes cloudy. This has some minor nucleation. The head is small only about 1/6" and white. Taste - is fairly hard to detect. There is a little raspberry, some cherry, and other dried fruit. There is a chardonnay like quality about it. There is some Belgian yeast as well. Palate - body is light, texture vinous, the carbonation is average, and the finish slightly dry and sweet and cloying.

had in a hotel room out of a dixie cup donít @ me. Generally sweet with raisins, cherries. Its weird they refer to lambics on the bottle but this is not even close to a lambic style so i donít quiet get the reference. I stayed up later than I wanted trying to contemplate the reference. I gave up. Medium to full body.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2016 Pours a cloudy reddish brown in color with little to no head. There is a pleasant sour cherry aroma. The flavor of the cherries is only slightly sour and tart then disappears quickly not lingering long enough on the palate. I was also disappointed in this. It is basically the Gran Met soaked in sour cherries but it really isnít tart enough. It tastes more semi sweet than sour. Had again @ the Beers of the Burgh Fest on 14 May 2016. Much better this time. Nice tart and tangy with a somewhat belgian spice flavor.

Big cherry notes off the top. Nice off red color. Really a good lambic that just has a great balance of sweet to tart and alcohol. This will be a Thanksgiving staple beer for me.

Golden amber pour with a quick dissipating head. Light fruit aromas with a touch of yeast. Flavor is light malt with hints of fruit, kinda thin.
