COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pilzilla, a beer Matt has dubbed a bastardized German, Czech, Polish Pils. There are a lot of things going on in the dude’s head, man. It carries all the traits that they call for in a beer and then voodooized. This is a fun, unique interpretation of the beer that Matt fell in love with in Europe. It will take on it own identity and grow each year in varieties of hop and alcohol. Soon to take over Tokyo. Not yet in theaters near you.

Ingredients: premium German 2 row barley, dash of Vienna, 9 varieties of German, Czech, and Polish hops. Out house lager blend of yeast.

From the Bottle. Light Malt on the nose and some piney hops. Light malts dominate on the palate followed by a noticeable bitterness, I get some hay, honey like characteristics from the malts. Bitter Hops on the finish. Not bad.

Bomber pours hazy gold with a stiff rocky head. Aromas of pine grapefruit some sour grassy notes and a light woodsyness. Flavor is bitter/sour with favors of pine sap fruit rind and some soapy hops. Body is medium and finishes very bitter. There is a lot going on in this beer

Not a true pilsner almost a sour. The pilsner is evident. This is in a class by itself. Not a session beer but fun in a tasting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12/30/11. 12oz bottle courtesy watson1977. Hazy golden pour, almost light orange, with a small, fluffy off-white head that fades to a soapy film. Very light aroma of grainy malts with soapy fruitiness and plenty of grassy hops. Nice sweet bready malts with lots of bitter, grassy hops. Nice!

Mild lager aroma, not many hops noticeable there. Pours a hazy, light amber, with almost no head. Light sweet flavor, with a finish of bittering hops. This is an easy drinking lager, just not that much going on inside of it. I wouldn’t turn down another, but I most likely won’t be picking up more of this.

Aromavery nice nose. Fresh deep hop feel , slight sweetness of malts, bit fruit hints (lager?)
Appearance bright amber with haze to it. White , mid light top.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied. Bitter walls, nutty leafy notes that might be tad to heavy. Drinkability suffers due that. Malts sitting on lips. Soft flowery finish.

A nice warm hit for Voodoo. High hop and pine flavors with a good pilsener malt. Drinkable and with a good alcohol percentage. I like it!

Bottle courtesy of watson1977. A very hazy orange. Odd earthy/herbal and citrus hops. Tangy herbal hop bitterness with slick malt presence. A bit of a strange combo. Trailing citrus bitterness.
