argo0 (6227), Washington DC, USA Jun 25, 2008 (22oz bottle, thanks acrdz) Crystal clear apple juice body with small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, some spice/grass, light honey, melon. Taste is moderately sweet, grassy, melon, some alcohol, honey. Sticky medium-full body. Strikes me as an Imperial Pils, and a pretty good one. CaptainCougar (4663), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 12, 2008 First pour is 80% foam which slowly subsides into rocky clumps of white head coating the inside of the glass atop a luminescent pale bronze body. Aroma of fresh noble grassy hops and some lightly sweet pale malt. Body starts effervescent and crisp with a good bittersweetness toward a drier finish. Pretty interesting and drinkable. hopdog (4645), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 4, 2008 Sampled from 22oz bottle. Poured a medium and lighly hazy golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of grass, hay, and light citrus. Tastes of grass, hay, citrus, and some honey sweetness. Grassy all the way around. acrdz (4361), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 25, 2008 22oz bottle pours mostly clear medium-dark straw color with a white head, and just a faint bit of haze. Hoppy, sharp and dry fruity yeast notes in the nose, vibrant and fresh, thick and viscous on the palate, medium to full bitterness, sticky and oily at times, lovely. DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 8, 2007 Bottle from Capone’s. This one pours medium gold, hazy, with a finger of whitish head and clingy lacing. The aroma is very nice; a definite big Saazy hop presence coupled with pale malt, mild florals, light skinned fruit, and mild peppery notes. The palate is medium, very crisp and clean, with an initial hop flavor giving way to pale malt, slight citrus fruit, and some peppery and floral finishing notes. Solid complexity and great balance add to this one’s greatness.
