Pilzilla, a beer Matt has dubbed a bastardized German, Czech, Polish Pils. There are a lot of things going on in the dude’s head, man. It carries all the traits that they call for in a beer and then voodooized. This is a fun, unique interpretation of the beer that Matt fell in love with in Europe. It will take on it own identity and grow each year in varieties of hop and alcohol. Soon to take over Tokyo. Not yet in theaters near you.

Ingredients: premium German 2 row barley, dash of Vienna, 9 varieties of German, Czech, and Polish hops. Out house lager blend of yeast.

Pours yellow color with a thin head to it. Has a fruity, hoppy smell to it. Taste is some what similar with the hops showing nicely in the back.

Quite nice. Too hoppy for my taste but nice brew. Thick and strong as all this brewery’s works.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head. The aroma is fruity malt and floral. Medium mouth honey, floral, bitter finish, ok.

Aroma - Saaz hops, some grass and hay Appearance - pale yellow body, somewhat hazy. Steady nucleation. Head is about 1/3" and white, slowly fades. Not much lacing. Taste - Saaz hops all over ~ danky and swanky. A little doughy malt. Some grass. Palate - medium body, carbonation is average, the finish is bitter with dank Saaz hops.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The bottle cap is a very cool solid pine green color. The beer pours a murky golden yellow and has a small white head. The aroma is a nice blend of hops and a floral scent. The flavor is nice and hoppy with some citrus tossed in. I found this to be a really good Kellerbier.

Pours a dark straw yellow in color with a thin white head. Faint aroma of hops. The taste is slightly hoppy but not too bitter. Rather plain and unremarkable. Overall an average beer at best if you like this style.

12 oz bottle from the six type sampler case. This was pretty good but overdone on the hops like so many IPA types these days. Worth a try.

Hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma is muted, not much going on. Taste is biscuity malt, muted hops. Very basic.

Light, golden color. Not much scent. Starts off a little sweet with floral flavors and then turns very bitter. Awful, bitter after taste

Intense. Feels boozy upfront. Slightly bitter on the end. German malts, citrus, grapefruit, the hop, then some sort of sugary substance I suppose possibly caramel..? Pretty wild ride for a pils.

Extra from cpetrone-thanks, Chris! Golden color, foamy, fading to a creamy head. Nose of floral and bitter piney hops. Bready with bread yeast aromas and flavors, maltier than I expected and sweet. Not bad and hit the spot after a hard day of yard work.
