Tried at a UPick6 Tasting of Voodoo Brewery. Bottle Pours a clear Orange/yellow a few floaties. Has a big bubbly white head which diminishes quickly. Fruity, spicy aroma Ė peppercorns jump out, but the other spices are restrained. Sweet, tangy, spicy flavor. Yeasty/Malt and pepper finish. Not for me really, Drinkable, but I wonít buy again.

I thought this was a very nice beligain white. The tsatse had a little corriander and spice but not enough that it was overwhelming. Very tasty.

Cloudy amber beer with a very frothy white head. Head is grapefruit bitter with pepper! Palate is crisp and dry. Starts with bitterish orange and coriander. Some semi sweet wheaty malt follows, then sweet orange as the beer froths in the mouth. Some creamy malt and then a dry finish with some grapefruit bitterness and quite a bit of pepper. Interesting well joined up beer.

22oz Bomber: Beautiful clear, golden orange with a thick, boisterous head! Lots of sweet and spicy notes in the aroma. Distinct berry and citrus notes (sweet) and pepper (mild) for the spicy notes. Malty, light to medium bodied with a slight dry (spicy) finish. Nice mix of sweet and spicy but nothing too outstanding. Enjoyable and drinkable, but nothing outstanding. A bit too light bodied. Seems like they added a bit more spice instead of making a more full bodied white ale. Worth trying if you come across it but nothing to go out of your way for.

Aroma: The nose is very Belgian yeasty, lots of spice, some citrus, other fruits, and dough
Appearance: Another gusher from Voodoo, Iím going to start calling these guys the gusher brewery if this keeps up, and the pour is a cloudy orange with a foamy, lasting, white head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, tangy citrus, lots of spice, and some doughy malts
Palate: This beer feels fairly fizzy on the mouth, its a touch thin and has a fairly short finish to it
Overall Impression: My first rating of December, that wasnít really worth noting, but I noted it anyway. This was another mediocre brew from Voodoo. There isnít anything particularly terrible about their beers, but theyíre just not that interesting, and the quality of the product is just alright. Decent, but not particularly exciting stuff.

12 oz. Bottle, poor into a pint. Pours a clear yellow with lots of floating spices and yeast. Has a big bubbly white head which did stay awhile, nearly til the end. Leaves a soapy like lacing. Has a good aroma of fruits and spices. Very high carbonation. The flavor is pretty good. Nice mouthfeel. A LOT of spice. they say they use 12 varieties of peppercorns.. well, you can taste it. In fact, itís big time in the finish. It is nearly overwhelming. I donít think I would ever buy it again. Just to much spice.

A-pours a murky brownish yellow with particles floating around. its quite ugly looking, hope it tastes better. S-not here, extremely soapy fruit esters, hints of stale grain, light soapy orange peel. not good. T-the taste follows the nose but not to the degree of offensiveness. light notes of toasted grain up front, soapy juniper berries and orange peel, faint notes of yeast and slightly bready in the back. M-oily slick feel to it with a light amount of carbonation and murky rough finish. D-this is a relatively poor attempt at the style and not only tastes bad but looks bad as well. soapy and murky, sweet with no spice and little to no yeast flavors.

On tap at U Pick 6. Very little head. Wonderful creamy mouthfeel. A good tasting witbier with an interesting peppery finish. A little spicy but enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color with a nice fluffy white head. The aroma is of of orange citrus and spices (maybe coriander). Kind of a peppery spice to the noise as well. The initial taste is spice then followed by the citrus taste. Fairly crisp and clean. The pepper taste is not the most pleasant both in the aroma and the taste. Not a hug fan of that. Medium mouthfeel. Overall, this is just an ok beer for me. I could really do without the pepper taste that to me overwhelms the total flavor.

12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body with a large frothy white head. The nose is heavily spiced with orange peel and coriander and some yeast derived spice. Prominant Belgian tripel yeastiness. The flavor comes across decidely less spiced than the nose let on. Still a good bit of coriander though. Thereís maybe a minor contribution from the juniper berries, but itís minimal. Nice yeast profile. Light bodied and fizzy with a long lingering spicy finish. Oddly enough, the carbonation lends itself well to burping, where the juniper berries really come out. Decent Wit, with a unique twist coming from the juniper.
