(Vormsi Hele Eripruul) Bottle 330 ml from jookos, thanks! Served into a glass tankard, ABV 5.4% Golden yellow colour on the body, a bit hazy, with a tall white head on top. Good retention. Light lacing left behind. Grainy aroma but inviting, with some light citrus and lemon zest. Taste also of grains, a bit heavier than I expected, some light malts, citrus, light floral notes. A bit sweet all in all. Medium body, good carbonation. Quite good, certainly high drinkability.

Bottle. Pale yellow hazy. Nice pale pilsner malty nose with a bit of husks/grainyness. Subtle citrus green hoppyness that I love so much. Lightish body, but fits well. The hazyness providing softness to the mouthefeel. Pretty nicely balanced. Citrus, limey, flavours beside the pale maltyness. As a lager, real nice. Not over hopped, but still enough to get that subtle fruityness. There’s just a hint of astringency in the finish, if I had to come up with any critique. But overall pretty nice hop- flavoured lager.

0,33 pullo from Drink shop Tallinna@ Antero Saimaa. Sameahkon keltainen, isot kuplat pikkuinen vaahto. Vaalea maltainen tuoksu. Hiilihappoa, reilusti maltaan makua, myös humalaa.

Kauge (755) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 30, 2014
Bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja food department (€ 2,85) in May 2014. A somewhat hazy amber with a small, white, fast disappearing head. Nose is predominantly malty: hay, herbs, honey. Pleasantly sweet. Also slightly medicinal and muddy in the background, some alcohol even. Taste is I guess kind of better than your average wide distribution lager but still disappointingly messy and dirty with bitter (herbal) and malty (grainy) notes dominating. Light body, thin, fairly smooth, soft carbonation. Watery mouthfeel, dry, grainy finish. This belongs in the lower end of the new craft scene (haven’t yet rated any of the other Vormsis). Maybe ok to just gulp down in hot weather (not that we have that around here) without giving it any thought. But I guess you can do that with beers way cheaper than this one.

Bottled@PBF IX. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, some herbal notes and mild toffee. Flavour is herbal, grainy, rubbery and some herbs. Not the cleanest or most interesting, but a fair effort.
