Kauge (63) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 8, 2014
Bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja food department (€ 2,85) in June 2014. Dark amber in colour; small off white head. Nose is malts, caramel and hay. More wet cardboardy as it warms. Taste is rather sweet - malts most apparent, with some hops in the finish, even a bit of spiciness. Medium body, rather smooth and soft mouthfeel, a somewhat thin and watery palate, low carbonation. Not exactly excellent but definitely the best - thus far - by Vormsi.

Bottle 330ml (PBF IX)
Amber color, small white head. Ryeish malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Clean flavor. Caramalt - quite sweet - rye, grain with some bitterness. Nice Märzen, maybe an ale?

lusikka (5996) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 28, 2014
330 ml bottle @ PBF IX. Pours a copper colour with a small head. Aroma of spruce, toastiness and malts. Flavour of grainy malts, yeastiness, toasted bread, cardboard, ripe fruitiness and grassy notes. Light bodied and low-ish carbonation. Weird and yeasty.

33 cl bottle @ PBF IX.
Pours amber color with a small head. Malty aroma with faint fruity notes, some grass too. Pretty much the same on the flavor, a bit boring. Nothing wrong here though.

33 cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ, BBE 03/2015
Aroma has lots of bready malt. Actually quite nothing else, perhaps some toffee and berries. Flavour has berries, bready malt and toffee. Bready all the way. Does not taste like Märzen, more like dunkel.

Grzesiek79 (3130) - Radom, POLAND - JUN 24, 2014
Bottle from trade with Marduk (Many Thanks). Bardzo ciekawe podejscie i interpretacja Marzena. Fajna jakby celtycka etykieta. Aromat typowy dla marzena slodowy, ale czuc suszone szyszki. Wyglad piwa bursztynowy o intensywnym odcieniu ciemnej pomaranczy. Piana srednia ale jakosciowo dobra i trwala. Smak przeplatany od karmelowego slodu do chmielowej lekko goryczkowej i trwalej koncowki.

Bottle from talumehe Kõrts, Haapsalu. Hazy dark amber color, white head. Spicy aroma. Tasdte was spicy (pepper maybe), medium hoppy. Not so märzen. Medium bitter finish.

Senka (420) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 26, 2014
33cl BBE10.2014 Pours cloudy dark orange, with thin head and very gentle carbonation. Aroma of earth, yeast and burnt rye bread. Märzen should have slightly more fizz, though colour and body is perfect. Close to full bodied beer. Unfortunately, moldy and earthy taste spoils it for me. This beer should be hoppy, malty and orange, and it is not quite it. This brew is much more of a Märzen than mass produced Märzens from Austria or Germany. Still, there are a lot of room for improvement. Good Luck!
