3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light yellow body, hazy, good carbonation. Tall white head, lasting a minute or so. The first glass I poured had no yeast in it, leading to a light yellow, slightly hazy body. I poured the yeast in the second glass, resulting in a definitely cloudy dark yellow body,
similar to that of a dark hefeweizen. Delicious aroma with fruits (pear, grapes), hops, a touch of soap and horse blanket. Taste is rather dry, yeasty and slightly spicy. Average finish. A bit watery on the palate.... Overall, a nice witbier from our French friends. Grazie, Germano!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Cloudy orange color. Aroma of caramel, perfume, orange peel, cookie, herbs, citrus, fruit and what I thought was star anis. Can’t quit place the overall impression of this beer. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light sweet and acidic flavor. Sweet and again star anis like finish. Not what I normally expect from a Witbier.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled, 330 ml from Super U. Pale yellow, cloudy beer with short lasting head. Thin on the palate, almost watery with a lack of the Witbier spiciness. Smooth vanilla, pears flavours but with an added wet cardboard note. Short and a little sweet on the finish. ok but nothing special.
