On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear, pinkish golden body. Wheat malts, a citrusy touch and a light raspberry scent in the aroma. Could perhaps need a tad more raspberries. The flavor is fine though, the berries more evident, still on a backbone of wheat malts. Some bitterness. Some citric acidity. Medium to thin on the palate, with a quite high, but nice, level of carbonation. Raspberries dominates the finish. A nice and quite tasteful berry beer. 140617

Draught @ Voss Bryggeri, Voss
Pours hazy pink/orange with a pink head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat and raspberries. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long raspberry and slightly sour and dry finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

My Bottom Line:
Raspberry sugars and their lightly citrusy edges scent this artificial-feeling Fruit Beer.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the hazy pale pink.
-Mouthfeel is lean and the carbonation is prickly.
-Mild tartness seals the otherwise vacuous finish.
-Whether the raspberries used are authentic or artificial, what matters to me is that they FEEL artificial, especially in the nose.
-This is not poorly made at all. I simply have an aversion for generic fruit beers such as these...

On tap at Café Tre Bror, Voss.

Sample @ the brewery, thanks VB! :-) Pours a light orange-tainted pink body with a medium white head. Nose is raspberries, wet grass and hints of citrus. Taste is fresh raspberries, grass and citric hints with some grainy notes in the back. Thin body, medium carbonation. The fruit profile is quite strong in this beer, although not overwhelming. The (too) thin body kinda pulls down the score a bit, otherwise this is rather refreshing and a decent fruit beer for the summer season.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, as Voss Mauritz Hage Bringebær. Colour somewhere between pink and orange (peachy?), moderate white head. Aroma of sourish, ripe and over-ripe raspberries. The flavour is fairly dry and refreshing, the raspberries are there all the way, but you still get a notion that you are drinking a beer, and not only a fruit drink. Moderate hops in the finish.

On tap at Cardinal as Mauritz Hage Bringebær. Pours hazy orange/red with a tiny white head. Strong sweet and fresh raspberry aroma. Taste is soft, smooth moderate sweet raspberries, no sharp edges,a pleasant summer beer, refreshing and balanced.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 15.07.2013, tap @ Tre Brør Bar:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is fruity, lots of fresh raspberries, grain, grass, hay, cereal. Taste is slightly fresh fruity, light malts, hay, raspberries, leafs, grass. Little bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Not bad at all.
