Bottle: Very big sized, white foamy head that disappear very slow. This on top of a murky almost muddy yellow colored beer. Aromas of glue, clay, dirty malts, old hops, garbage, (cooked) cabbage... Not your average like of a craft beer aroma... Flavours of floral, old hops, bitters, malts, clay, manure, cream, hay, grass, grains, close to nasty malty bitterness... Aftertaste is floral, malty, bitter, earthy and grass. Medium carbo, soft foamy light blown mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. Strange beer, bit out of tune...

Slightly hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of laundry, yeast, spelt and hops, quite a bit of bubblegum and candy. Light sour, light bitter flavour, malts, spelt and yeast. Light sour finish, sweets and yeast.
Brought for those completing the HtD collection. Decent, though I found it a bit disappointing, I like some of their other beers more.

Thx. to Martinus for this one another one added to my Hof ten Dormaal collection. 375 ml. green bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Opaque yellow with a white head. Nose showcase the typical home-grown barley & hop character of HtD with their atypical hops winning the show mixed with a lot of herbs & coriander. Taste is sweet, milk, lots of spices, coriander, cleaning agents, their home-grown hop & barley showing here. Medium hazy, bodied, I believe that I was supposed to dislike this one… meh it is not bad & enjoyable albeit not their best.

37.5cl bottle sample @ RBBWG 2013, courtesy of Tinus.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2013 Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2013. Hazy yellow color, full sized good lacing white head. Smell and taste a light sourness and some fruitpeel. Don’t really like it but it could be worse.

375ml bottle. Completely hazy and orange with small head. Nose : esters and yeast. The fruit aromas are apricot and banana. Some chestnuts. Sip : good carbonation and creamy body. Sweet and yeasty with esters. It develops the usual estery banana, orange and apricot. Very little bitterness. The hops develops mostly flower notes. Nothing exciting.
