Bottle, thanks Daniel for this bottle. Pours deep brown black with a tan head. Smell of chocolate, coffee, prunes, cocoa, oak. Sweet flavors of dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, cocoa beans. Medium-full, smooth with oily palate. Good.

Bottle sample. Thanks zvsn. Opaque brown with small brown head, nice lacing. The aroma has notes of wood, dark chocolate and some roast, a bit alcoholic. Sweet flavor followed by light bitterness, notes of wood, liqueur and dark chocolate, a bit alcoholic. Medium to full-bodied. Very nice.

At a tasting, thanks, treacly pour, small stable creamy head, opaque dark brown color, green and roasted coffee aroma with dark toasted bread and dark chocolate cake, flavor of dark bread, smoke and some dark fruitiness, lingering fruity sourness, suprisingly light bodied, Very enjoyable and easy to drink.

This stout is in all respects like tasting espresso coffee: colour is dark brown, almost black; head is moka. Aroma is espresso and a hint of citrus; taste is sheer bitter accompanied by a long finish with notes of... coffee. Try matching it with coffee, it’ll do great.
