Bottle. Light yellow cloudy color. Dissapearing foam and small steady stream of carbonation. Sweet honey smell but also a bit horseblanket. Bubbly and light on the palate. Tart citris flavor thats also light and well balanced. Unifor taste thats decidedly different than most small batch belgiums in both complexity and alcohol content. I’d call it a decent beginners Belgium.

Golden with a moderate head and good lace. The aroma has notes of honey, fruit (orange and more) and malt. The flavour is sweetish and has notes of honey, citrus (orange and more) and the finish is even more citrussy. It’s a charming beer, that is easy to drink.

bottle from bier temple, brussels. Hazy yellow w/ white head. Nicely spiced nose of wheat and yeast. Taste of coriander and sweet fruit. Finish of vegetables with an odd sweetness. I’d rather not have it again.

Draught. Golden coloured.. Unclear. Dense white head. Yeast, herbs and sweetness in the aroma. Flavour is full of fruits and berries. Sweetness and spice mingles with light herbal notes. Is quite bland though. A bit thin bodied. Has a quite watery and sweet end. A bit dull IMO.

Blond, yellow coloured with a small white head and some little carbonation. Fruity and herby malty aroma, hints of citrus and coriander. Full palate. Finish is again herby, little bitter. Not bad, average white.

(Rating #889)

Bottle: Poured a light orangey color ale with a small bubbly head with limited retention. Aroma of weird spices is not the most enticing. Taste is different from your average wit but not necessarily for the best; there is way too much orange peel with limited coriander which contributed to the misbalance character of this beer. Body is slightly oily and not full at all. Weird take on a style that doesn’t provide much error margin to begin with.

it is very possible that i do not have a taste for spiced beer. the fact that i enjoyed this more than any other spiced beer means that i should rate this beer highly, right? but it’s just not that great.
