wow! reticent (slightly watery compared to most wits on first taste) but amazing--definite notes of strawberry and ambrosia (;) as well as spice and clove, esters and gum present, finish is balanced and fantastic

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and tall frothy head. Slightly dusty and sweet malty aroma with notes of biscuits, accompanied by notes of citrus and shades of coriander. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Biscuity and slightly grainy malty taste with just a tinge of wheat and also rather shy fruity notes; sweet malty and slightly sour-fruity finish. Uncommon Wit. 09.VI.11

Bottle, pours a hazy orange body with a thin off white head. Aromatically wheat dominance, citrus, lemon and orange peels. light spices bubble gum notes. A bit spicy but flavors quickly dive out leaving a hint of pine and spice. Pretty average for the style, i was hoping for some bizarre spices to change up the pace a bit.

Poured into a snifter. Vuuve pours a cloudy, yellowish-orange with a pure with head on top that drops really quick, leaving almost no head at all. On the nose are aromas of citrus, yeast, spices, some bubble gum, and some sour notes. Sour flavors from the second it hit my tongue. Sour citrus with spices, like extremely mellow grapefruit juice with out the tang. Good use of fresh orange peel. Mouthfeel is nice, very mild carbonation, very smooth and refreshing, doesn’t stay on the palate too long, but enjoyable to drink nonetheless. Very drinkable, mostly a hot summer day for me, a nice easy drinking treat.

Bottle from the back of the Proof fridge, aroma of rotting cabbage, We have no idea how old this is. Slight wheat aroma. Bit of citrus. Forgetable.

transparent honey. Nose is either fierce mango or fruit punch gatorade, lots of sugar and light bread. Flavor is similar, really captures thin Gatorade body, light sugar and yeast in the finish.

Tap at Max’s. Clear orange-yellow pour. Almost no head. Strong medicinal fruit aroma. Cherry cough syrup flavor. Almost like peptobismal. Bubble gum notes. Very sweet.

Light honey malt nose, light floral hop notes. Taste is moderately sweet, very lightly bitter, some herbal hops, lots of toffee, lots of honey. Men.
