1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 oteyj (1753) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 4, 2010
A slightly hazy peach color with a half finger white head. The aroma is banana, clove, orangepeel, and rotting vegetables. Puke, sweat, and old socks com through as well. The flavor is nearly as bad- tons of old dirty socks, moldy vegetables, grains, and rotting banana. There are some good flavors in there, but they are taken over by the off ones. The mouthfeel is actually quite nice- soft effervescence and a slippery finish.

A witbier that tasted and smelled citrusy. Poured a hazy yellow with a medium head that quickly dissolved. Nice aroma and pleasent taste, although at times a bit sour. Lots of carbination gave the beer a soda like feel. Nothing to write home about, but a soild example of a witbier.
