Blond, yellow coloured with a small white head and some little carbonation. Fruity and herby malty aroma, hints of citrus and coriander. Full palate. Finish is again herby, little bitter. Not bad, average white.

33cl bottle from Willow Bend (Tampa, FL). Pours a slightly hazy dark golden with a thin white head that dissipates quickly into nothing. Aroma is wet straw, slightly sweet malt, sour, ripe fruit, hints of spice and honey. Flavor is surprising for a witbier -- sweet and malty with a tartness that smacks the palate. Mouthfeel is generally watery with a quick, somewhat dry finish. Not typical for the style, but interesting.

Big ass magnum I picked up quite some time ago. Pours a cloudy golden body with decent size head. Smell is yeasty and spicey with corriander being detected. Flavor is of spice also and slightly bitter. Dry mouthfeel.

Cloudy colored but in the good way, not cloudy like a Bud. This is probably the most distinct belgian white I have ever tried, definitly worth a try by any beer lover. It has a strong citric kick. I wouldn’t drink this on a regular basis but I do recommend everyone to try it. Rerate 5/5/06 - oh boy, I compared this to a bud. Well this is definitly more sour than I mentioned. Liek citrus mixed with sourness. Medium nobody, feel that sourness for a while. I am lowering my rating just a bit.

Pours bright golden, slightly hazy with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma of citrus, sour white grapes, coriader, white pepper.Taste is acidic and citric, with notes of spice and yeast, but tastes like there are some bacteria in there. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, acidic with lively carbonation. Kind of like a Berliner Witbier.

[Bottle at Spuyten Duyvil] Brownish yellow with little head and cloudy. Buttery lemony orange with a little bit of corriander and plenty of sweet malt. Maybe some banana in there somewhere. Sweet and sour banana flavour with a candy/oxidized flavour and not very complex. Quite a bit fruity--nectarine? Medium body with moderated carbonation and tangy.

Pale, plae yellow until the yeast hits; head was thin; Nose full of yeast and lemon. Yeast to the MAX! Very few ’wit’ qualities. Citrus is quite restrained. Reminds me of Schneider Edel Weiss.

Rated 10.6.07 - Spicy aroma. Stange pour for a witbier. Pee colored with sudsy head small white head, no bubbles. Flavor is sweet and sour malt with coriander. Very fruity. Palate is gross, like sparkling apple juice, big bubbles. 7.2.4.1.7 [Rerate - 2.3.09] Pours a murky thin looking dull golden orange with a large white sudsy foamy head. Spicy aroma, lots of coriander, touch of vanilla & orange peel, sour wet malts. Tastes slightly hot, gritty wheat, lightly creamy, super spiced with sweet malty orange underneath and a bitter orange peel light hop vitamin-C chalky finish. Not quite as I remember it, however, just as odd. Weird mix of creamy and sharp soda carbonation, a sugary feeling. 6.3.6.3.12
