Also, the orange peel flavoring is very evident, more than any spice. I might like this beer even more if I was a big orange juice fan. Kinz (2221), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA

Aroma lightly of coriander and orange peel. Flavor matched, with notes of wheat grains. Very well balanced. Touch of yeast as well. This is a really good wit. skaughty (621), Marietta, Georgia, USA

The result was something that looked more like Duvel than Hoegaarden - but darker than both. The aroma was of wheat and heavy yeast. The taste lacked the tartness and volume of coriander to be a true witbier. What was there instead was a wonderful quaffable golden ale that is lively on in the glass and on the tongue. doublebock (198), USA

Hazy golden body with a medium, quickly dissipating, white head. Light spice aroma with some light fruit and sweet malt. Flavor is very nice tart with a raspberry flavor as well, light coriander, orange, wheat, very nice. Flavor is med to full in body, with a very nice creaminess. A really nice tart, wit-style belgian. I am surprised that people have rated this beer so low. Jerre (1768), Waregem, Belgium

Light hazy yellow collor with a medium, white head. Aroma is spicy, yeast, some malt. Medium body. Very nice flavour for just a low alc. beer.
Taste is full mouthfeel, with fruits, hops, spices. ¾ (5012), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 3, 2003 Updated: Aug 16, 2008I’m really suprised by the ratings for this wit. Three of us tasting Vuvve tonight rated in in the medium 4’s, and it beat St. Bernardus and Troublette. For a Belgian white, this one is awesome. Sour orange peel and cinnamon/ginger aroma, also containing a big mandarin orange aroma. Very spicy and slightly robust. Soft orange appearance. Punchy, spicy, spritzy, very carbonated, and the bubbles roll off of the tongue nicely. It’s like drinking citrus concentrate, but the flavors really stand up to the mouthfeel. Lemons overpower everything, and it’s very acidic. Crisp and refreshing. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2002 I was impressed. I think it dry, not overly sweet, with very substantial spiciness. Without the yeast, at the beginning of the bottle, it’s spicy, and a nice cloudy orangish color. Nice body. With the end-of-bottle yeast, it turns more murky and almost gray, reminiscent of John’s Generations.
